Calcite with Boulangerite inclusions

Fluorescent light (daylight)

TC560CT

Spheroidal rosettes of very flattened rhombohedral Calcite crystals, black in color due to the inclusions of fibrous Boulangerite crystals. A typical curiosity of the Maramures mining area, an area that is now only a memory.

Herja Mine, Chiuzbaia, Baia Sprie, Maramures Romania

Specimen size: 13.6 x 10.1 x 7.9 cm

€560 / US$598 / ¥90590 / AUD$940

Euchroite

TC55EE

Aggregate on matrix of very sharp lamellar Euchroite crystals, one of them clearly dominant, translucent and with a deep green color. An excellent miniature of this rare species.

Ľubietová (Libethen), Banská Bystrica Slovak Republic (2003)

Specimen size: 1.8 x 1.5 x 0.8 cm

Main crystal size: 0.4 x 0.3 cm

€55 / US$58 / ¥8890 / AUD$90

Pyromorphite with Baryte

TC180EM

Aggregate of prismatic crystals of Pyromorphite, some of them doubly terminated. The crystals, on a Baryte matrix, have slight curvatures on the faces and edges, are bright and have a brown-yellow color on the prism and an intense yellow on the terminations, a typical combination in many specimens from the locality. An excellent French classic.

Les Farges Mine (Des Farges Mine), Ussel, Corrčze, Nouvelle-Aquitaine France

Specimen size: 7.2 x 5.1 x 2.3 cm

Main crystal size: 0.1 x 0.5 cm

€180 / US$192 / ¥29110 / AUD$300

Andradite (variety topazolite) with Clinochlore

TC80TL

Andradite crystals (variety topazolite) with the dominant crystal forms of the rhombohedron, with accessory cube and trapezohedron faces. Translucent, with a bright luster and very uniform honey-yellow color. On a rock matrix, with small spheroidal aggregates of Clinochlore of a very deep green color, almost black. An American classic.

Yellow Cat Mine, New Idria, New Idria District, Diablo Range, San Benito County, California USA (11/1998)

Specimen size: 4.6 x 3.8 x 2.3 cm

Main crystal size: 0.2 x 0.2 cm

€80 / US$85 / ¥12940 / AUD$130

Andradite (variety topazolite) with Clinochlore

TC85TV

Andradite crystals (variety topazolite) with the dominant crystal forms of the rhombohedron, with accessory cube and trapezohedron faces. Translucent, with a bright luster and very uniform honey-yellow color. On a rock matrix, with small spheroidal aggregates of Clinochlore of a very deep green color, almost black. An American classic.

Yellow Cat Mine, New Idria, New Idria District, Diablo Range, San Benito County, California USA (11/1998)

Specimen size: 3.7 x 3.1 x 1.4 cm

€85 / US$90 / ¥13750 / AUD$140

Andradite (variety topazolite) with Clinochlore

TC85TE

Andradite crystals (variety topazolite) with the dominant crystal forms of the rhombohedron, with accessory cube and trapezohedron faces. Translucent, with a bright luster and very uniform honey-yellow color. On a rock matrix, with small spheroidal aggregates of Clinochlore of a very deep green color, almost black. An American classic.
