Vanadinite

Fluorescent light (daylight)

TC860EX

Druse, on matrix, of short prismatic Vanadinite crystals, many of them doubly terminated, which form aesthetic palisades and parallel growths, with good luster and a very vivid color. The specimen comes from a 2019 find in Coud'a, made at levels deeper than usual and from which high quality specimens were obtained.

Coud'a, Mibladen mining district, Mibladen, Midelt, Midelt Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region Morocco (04-05/2019)

Specimen size: 5 x 4.4 x 3.9 cm

Main crystal size: 1.1 x 1 cm

€860 / US$918 / ¥139120 / AUD$1440

Djurleite-Chalcocite intergrowth on Calcite

TC160TG

Aggregate, on matrix, of very sharp crystals between lamellar and tabular, with bright luster and a sharp hexagonal outline. The analysis, of which we will send a copy to the buyer, indicates an intimate intergrowth of Djurleite and Chalcocite.

Aďt Ahmane (auxiliary shaft), Agdz, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region Morocco (11/2014-05/2015)

Specimen size: 5 x 4.4 x 3.9 cm

Main crystal size: 1.1 x 1 cm

€160 / US$170 / ¥25880 / AUD$260

Sphalerite with Galena and Dolomite

TC180ND

A very unusual piece that comes from Touissit's remote past. Druse of lustrous Sphalerite crystals with cubo-octahedral Galena crystals, partially covered by large groups of white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. In so many years of going there, I only saw a piece like this once.

Touissit, Touissit District, Jerada Province, Oriental Region Morocco (1997)

Specimen size: 11.7 x 8.9 x 4.8 cm

€180 / US$192 / ¥29110 / AUD$300

Chalcostibite with Azurite

TC380ED

Aggregate of elongated Chalcostibite crystals with very good terminations, rare in this type of specimen, and with well defined faces and edges. The Chalcostibite crystals are partially pseudomorphed by Azurite, which gives a very vivid color to the surfaces.

Rar el Anz, Oued Cherrat (Cherrat Wadi), Chaouia-Ouardigha, Casablanca Prefecture, Casablanca-Settat Region Morocco (2017)

Specimen size: 4.9 x 4.7 x 2.8 cm

Main crystal size: 4.4 x 2.4 cm

€380 / US$405 / ¥61470 / AUD$630

Calcite with inclusions, Dolomite and Pyrrhotite

TC140NM

Very aerial group of complex Calcite crystals, rich in faces, dominated by the scalenohedron, transparent, with good luster and a very pale yellow color, with abundant inclusions. Dotted with small crystals of Pyrrhotite and a large rhombohedral Dolomite crystal of light brown color.
