Pyrite with Sphalerite and Calcite

TC170GR

Druse of pyritohedral Pyrite crystals with polycrystalline growths, small groups of Sphalerite and white Calcite coatings.

Huanzala Mine, Huallanca District, Dos de Mayo Province, Huánuco Department Peru

Specimen size: 7 x 5.8 x 4.8 cm

Main crystal size: 1.5 x 1.4 cm

Former collection of Pedro Goy

€170 / US$187 / ¥26820 / AUD$280

Dissakisite-(Ce)/Allanite-(Ce) with Dolomite

TC280AE

Doubly terminated crystal of the isomorphous series Dissakisite-(Ce)/Allanite-(Ce). The majority of Trimouns specimens present color zoning that seems to indicate the presence of both species in the same crystal, the darkest areas corresponding to Allanite-(Ce), as they are richer in iron, and the dominant lighter areas to Dissakisite-(Ce). On matrix, with white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals.

Trimouns Mine, Luzenac, Haute-Ariège, Foix, Ariège Department, Occitanie France

Specimen size: 4.4 x 3.8 x 2.3 cm

Main crystal size: 1.4 x 0.3 cm

€280 / US$308 / ¥44180 / AUD$460

Dissakisite-(Ce)/Allanite-(Ce) with Dolomite

TC230AD

Group of doubly terminated crystals of the isomorphous series Dissakisite-(Ce)/Allanite-(Ce).

Specimen size: 6 x 3.8 x 3.6 cm

Main crystal size: 1.1 x 0.1 cm

TC290AB

Very sharp platy crystal of Hydroxylbastnäsite, aerial, transparent, honey-colored, on a matrix of massive Calcite and Dolomite crystals. There are also small sheets of Talc on the crystal, which is well terminated, but has some rough terminations on the top. A classic of French and world mineralogy.

Trimouns Mine, Luzenac, Haute-Ariège, Foix, Ariège Department, Occitanie France

Specimen size: 5.9 x 3.8 x 1.1 cm

Main crystal size: 0.9 x 0.2 cm

€290 / US$319 / ¥45760 / AUD$470

Sulphur

TC80AA

On matrix, a large crystal of Sulphur with relatively well defined faces and edges and hopper growths, between translucent and transparent, in an excellent state of preservation.

San Felipe, Mexicali, Baja California, Baja California Mexico

Specimen size: 3.6 x 2.1 x 1.6 cm

Main crystal size: 2.3 x 1.8 cm

€80 / US$88 / ¥12620 / AUD$130

Cinnabar with Quartz, Calcite and Gypsum

TC90TD

Cocineras Mine, West Camp, Santa Eulalia District, Municipio Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua Mexico (2019)

Specimen size: 4.8 x 3.1 x 2 cm

Main crystal size: 0.1 x 0.1 cm

With analysis copy

€90 / US$99 / ¥14200 / AUD$140

Cinnabar with Quartz and Calcite

TC90TZ

Cinnabar crystals with a dominant rhombohedral shape plus minor crystal forms, translucent, extraordinarily lustrous and with a very vivid color, on matrix with small crystals of Calcite, Quartz. The specimen has been carefully analyzed and determined to be Cinnabar and, although it was suggested that Metacinabar could be found in these specimens too, our analyses have not detected any. We will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

Cocineras Mine, West Camp, Santa Eulalia District, Municipio Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua Mexico (2019)

Specimen size: 6.5 x 2.8 x 2.6 cm

Main crystal size: 0.1 x 0.1 cm

With analysis copy

€90 / US$99 / ¥14200 / AUD$140

Sphalerite with Dolomite

TC9NBX

Polycrystalline growths of complex shapes, with well defined edges and faces, slightly curved, transparent, very lustrous and with a very deep and uniform honey-brown color, with small coatings of white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. This piece comes from some small artisanal finds that were made in the mine after its closure. There is currently no access to the galleries.

Áliva Mine (Las Mánforas Mine), Áliva mining area, Camaleño, Comarca Liébana, Cantabria Spain
