Fluorite with Quartz

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SM180NGZ

Druse of Fluorite crystals with a cubic habit, sharp, transparent, with good luster and a light blue color with geometric color zoning with violet tones near the edges. With partial coatings of very transparent Quartz crystals.

La Viesca Mine, La Collada mining area, Huergo, Siero, Comarca Oviedo, Principality of Asturias (Asturias) Spain (2010)

Specimen size: 10.2 x 8.5 x 5.4 cm

Main crystal size: 2.4 x 2.3 cm

€180 / US$192 / ¥29110 / AUD$300

Fluorite

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SM1600MRF

Group of cubic Fluorite crystals, on matrix, with very marked polycrystalline growths, between translucent and transparent, with good luster and a lilac color which, depending on the incident light, acquires intense violet tones.

Berbes mining area, Berbes, Ribadesella, Comarca Oriente, Principality of Asturias (Asturias) Spain (±2000)

Specimen size: 20.4 x 19.8 x 6.6 cm

Main crystal size: 4.6 x 3.7 cm

€1600 / US$1709 / ¥258830 / AUD$2680

Mimetite with Beudantite

SM65NBA

Small but very sharp tabular Mimetite crystals of excellent quality. In groups or isolated, they have very well defined faces and edges, bright luster, and an intense and uniform yellow color, on a limonite matrix with botryoidal growths of Beudantite microcrystals. Both the Mimetite and Beudantite have been analyzed and we will send a copy of both analyses to the buyer.

Filón Sur open pit, Minas de Tharsis, Tharsis, Alosno, Comarca El Andévalo, Huelva, Andalusia Spain (09-10/2011)

Specimen size: 3.3 x 2.7 x 3.6 cm

Main crystal size: 0.3 x 0.1 cm

€65 / US$69 / ¥10510 / AUD$100

Quartz with Magnesioriebeckite inclusions

SM60NAT

Quartz crystals, on matrix, with a clearly bipyramidal habit formed by two rhombohedra with very thin prism faces, practically non-existent, which is rare in Quartz. The crystals are lustrous and exhibit an intense blue color due to Magnesioriebeckite inclusions.

Acedo Claim (Juanona Quarry), Juanona, Antequera, Comarca de Antequera, Málaga, Andalusia Spain

Specimen size: 3.9 x 3.4 x 1.8 cm

Main crystal size: 1.1 x 0.8 cm

€60 / US$64 / ¥9700 / AUD$100

Rear

SM130DAJ

Group of Quartz crystals (smoky variety), one of them clearly dominant and partially doubly terminated, with a normal termination at the lower end and a parallel polycrystalline growth in the upper part. The group, very rich in inclusions, conserves remains of an Orthoclase matrix.
The specimen comes from the Lluís Daunis collection.

(La Cabrera pluton), La Cabrera, Comarca Sierra Norte, Community of Madrid Spain (±1970)

Specimen size: 9.6 x 4.3 x 4 cm

Main crystal size: 8.2 x 4.3 cm

Former collection of Lluís Daunis

€130 / US$138 / ¥21030 / AUD$218

Pyrite (octahedral)

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SM120NHB

Very sharp and lustrous octahedral Pyrite crystal growths. Curiously, octahedral pyrite is quite a rarity in Spanish mineralogy, especially in this case since it comes from a little-known Aragonese locality.

Carmen y Pura Group of mines, Foz-Calanda, Comarca Bajo Aragón, Teruel, Aragon Spain (01/2013)

Specimen size: 10.8 x 9.4 x 5.2 cm

Main crystal size: 1.2 x 0.4 cm

€120 / US$128 / ¥19410 / AUD$200
