Fluorescent light (daylight)

SM260TRM

Floater group of Azurites with two spheroidal aggregates of flattened crystals, with well defined faces and slightly curved edges. Vivid blue in color and with the characteristic Malachite pseudomorphs after octahedral Cuprite crystals. A French classic from the type locality for the species.

Chessy-les-Mines, Les Bois d'Oingt, Villefranche-sur-Saône, Rhône, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes France

Specimen size: 5.4 x 4.8 x 4.6 cm

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SM160HAT

Druse with centered aggregates of short prismatic crystals of Celestine that are translucent, lustrous and snow-white in color, with small crystals of Sulphur with a dipyramidal habit on the back of the piece.

Caltanissetta Province, Sicily Italy

Specimen size: 15.5 x 9.9 x 4.1 cm

Main crystal size: 1.5 x 0.4 cm

€160 / US$170 / ¥25880 / AUD$260

Galena with Dolomite

SM220EVK

A novelty at Munich Virtual 2020: Cubo-octahedral crystals of Galena with very marked and lustrous polycrystalline growths, on a matrix coated by rhombohedral Dolomite crystals of pale pink color. This material was practically unknown until now.

Zelidja Mine, Touissit-Bou Bekker mining district, Jerada Province, Oriental Region Morocco

Specimen size: 6.2 x 5.8 x 3.4 cm

Main crystal size: 0.7 x 0.6 cm

€220 / US$235 / ¥35580 / AUD$360

Erythrite with Phlogopite

SM150ECE

Radial aggregates of very sharp Erythrite crystals with a slightly different habit from the better known Bou Azzer. These crystals, on a matrix partially covered with Phlogopite (analyzed), stand out for their transparency, luster and very intense and vivid color.

Tazalarht mining area, Taroudant Province, Souss-Massa Region Morocco (01/2015)

Specimen size: 5.8 x 5.3 x 3.7 cm

Main crystal size: 0.8 x 0.1 cm

€150 / US$160 / ¥24260 / AUD$250

Titanite on Rutile after Ilmenite and with Microcline

SM150ERG

Lamellar Ilmenite crystals with an irregular outline were completely replaced by Rutile and covered by very sharp Titanite crystals. They show great luster and very well defined faces and edges, with a distinct color change that shows an intense yellow under LED light and greenish under natural or fluorescent tube light.
The process of substitution of Ilmenite by Rutile here seems very similar to that already known in other locations with similar geological conditions (for example the Rutile from Zambia) and is due to hydrothermal processes associated with the deposit. These specimens, very different from the titanites previously known from Imilchil, have undergone urgent analysis that we plan to continue to carry out in more depth. We will send the buyer the information and documentation obtained so far, as well as a copy of the analyses carried out on the species present in the current specimens.

Imilchil area, Anti-Atlas, Er Rachidia Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region Morocco (2016)

Specimen size: 5 x 3.6 x 1.7 cm

Main crystal size: 0.7 x 0.6 cm

€150 / US$160 / ¥24260 / AUD$250
