Hemimorphite with Calcite

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SV3380TXX

Very different from others, this curious Hemimorphite occurs in groups of small crystals with an intense pearly luster, which contrasts with the brown Calcite of the base.
Just what I said: different.

San Antonio Mine (San Antonio el Grande Mine), East Camp, Santa Eulalia District, Municipio Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua Mexico

Specimen size: 7.7 x 6.2 x 4.4 cm

Main crystal size: 0.6 x 0.2 cm

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SV3180TPT

These Hamiltonban coppers are not very attractive, but of remarkable size and very difficult to get. A historical part of the US mining heritage.

Blue Ridge Summit, Hamiltonban Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania USA

Specimen size: 7.5 x 6.9 x 1.6 cm
