EXPO MINERAL

A peculiar discovery from 2021 in the Austria Duvas Mine, where these rhodochrosites appeared in rosette shapes associated with Quartz and minor Sphalerite. Their striking resemblance to the rhodochrosites from Cavnic, Romania, is curious to the extent that at mineral shows, Romanian dealers seeking pieces for their home market sometimes get confused and believe that they are from their own country.
In any case, they are truly pretty, and this one, in addition, quite big.
Austria Duvas Mine, Morococha District, Yauli Province, Junín Department Peru (07/2021)
Specimen size: 15.4 x 9.8 x 7.8 cm

Floater Copper group of good size, twisted and partially replaced by Malachite, very characteristic of the Bou Nahas Mine.
It is one of those pareidolia-generating pieces whose shape strongly resembles that of a horse (or a dragon)

Specimen size: 10.3 x 8.2 x 5.1 cm

A group of large Fluorite crystals heavily coated by Quartz, somewhat larger than usual for this locality, giving them an unusual, yet beautiful appearance.
El Hammam, Ait Mimoune, Khémisset Province, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region Morocco
Specimen size: 9.7 x 8.5 x 5.4 cm
Main crystal size: 5.1 x 4.2 cm

A great discovery, like the one that occurred in the Coud’a area, Mibladen, between April and May of 2019, yields exceptional pieces but also “satellite” pieces, pleasant ones, that due to the magnitude of the find, can be reasonably priced.
This is a piece on matrix, and it is in perfect condition. Its color is pleasant, and overall it is a good representative of the species for any collection, as evidenced by its previous stay in the Miguel David Martínez collection with the number 761. We will send the label to the buyer.
Coud'a, Mibladen mining district, Mibladen, Midelt, Midelt Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region Morocco (04-05/2019)
Specimen size: 6 x 5.1 x 3.2 cm
Main crystal size: 1 x 0.8 cm
Former collection of Miguel David Martínez

Norway has some fame for the calcites from this mine. Their color, luster, and the multiple growths on the crystal faces are very characteristic, just like this piece.
Dalen-Kjřrholt Mine, Kjřrholt, Brevik, Porsgrunn, Telemark, Řstlandet Norway
Specimen size: 6 x 5.2 x 4 cm
Main crystal size: 4.7 x 1.4 cm
