CL11AL3: A very aerial tree-like floater aggregate composed of slightly elongated rhombododecahedral crystals of Copper with pronounced curved edges.

TV87AL3: Arborescent growth of flattened Copper, on matrix, very aerial, with poorly defined crystalline forms. High quality Coppers like this one are very rare in Franklin.

Specimen size: 11 × 5.6 × 2.3 cm = 4.33” × 2.20” × 0.91”

Main crystal size: 2.2 × 1.5 cm = 0.87” × 0.59”

TX53AL3: Tree-like growth, on matrix, of very elongated crystals of Silver, with pronounced twists (“wires”) and crystalline terminations. An excellent example from a mining district from which Silver is known but not abundant.

Specimen size: 4.8 × 2.3 × 2.1 cm = 1.89” × 0.91” × 0.83”

TT47AL3: Equidimensional Fluorapophyllite-(K) crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with an apparently cubic habit, with very well defined faces and edges, translucent white, on matrix, with Quartz and small white botryoidal aggregates of Prehnite. The specimen comes from a classic American locality for the species.

EE89AL3: Group of Quartz crystals (variety amethyst) transparent and bright. The color is selectively distributed, with the prism faces being practically colorless, slightly reddish colors on the pyramidal faces, and intense violet concentrated mainly around the terminal edges. The specimen comes from a classic American locality.

Main crystal size: 4.7 × 2.4 cm = 1.85” × 0.94”

CN46AL3: Centered aggregates of white acicular Strontianite crystals, with very well defined faces and edges and implanted in a lilac Fluorite matrix. The specimen shows the classic morphology for this locality, a reference specimen for the species.

Minerva I Mine, Ozark-Mahoning group, Cave-in-Rock Sub-District, Hardin County, Illinois  USA

Specimen size: 4.8 × 3.6 × 3 cm = 1.89” × 1.42” × 1.18”

Main crystal size: 0.6 × 0.2 cm = 0.24” × 0.08”

MN91AL3: Group of slightly flattened Azurite crystals, with the dominant forms of the rhombohedron and polycrystalline growths on the faces, of a very vivid blue color, on matrix and partially covered with Malachite. From one of the great classic localities in Arizona, and with more color and better luster than usually found there.

TR27AL3: Long, tapered Pyromorphite crystals, many of them doubly terminated, grass green with yellow tones, on a Quartz matrix. The specimen has quite different characteristics from those of the nearby and better known Bunker Hill Mine.

CB46AL3: Feather-like growth of Silver crystals in which a doubly terminated and very elongated crystal stands out, with the sharp profile of a spinel-law twin. The attached documentation shows that the specimen was extracted from the mine in 1979.

TB89AL3: Botryoidal growth, very aesthetic, of Mimetite with an intense fatty luster and zones of distinct colors that range from an intense lemon-yellow to orange-yellow. A Mexican classic.

MM96AL3: Growth, on matrix, of spheroidal crystals that are more individualized than usual, and yellowish green, unusual in specimens from this deposit.

CF27AL3: Group of very sharp prismatic Topaz crystals, on matrix, with well defined faces and edges, bright, transparent and with color zoning, very deep in the terminations.

Tepetate, Municipio Villa de Arriaga, San Luis Potosí  Mexico

Specimen size: 4.9 × 2.8 × 3.2 cm = 1.93” × 1.10” × 1.26”

Main crystal size: 1.3 × 0.6 cm = 0.51” × 0.24”

TF89AL3: Acanthite crystal growths (selenium-rich) with the dominant faces being the rhombododecahedron, an unusual form for the species, some of them with hoppered growths, associated with Polybasite crystals, likewise rich in selenium, Calcite, and coatings of small Pyrite crystals. Analyses of the specimen, of which we will send a copy to the buyer, indicate a high content of selenium in both the Acanthite and the Polybasite.

MD26AL3: Good specimen of this rare lead sulphantimonate, with rosette-like crystal aggregates on matrix, dark metallic grey in color. Fülöppite is one of the rare species associated with Stibnite in this mine.

NF13AL3: Botryoidal and stalactitic growths of Goethite with variegated metallic iridescence, with reddish, blue and green tones dominating. The specimen comes from one localized find in a mine currently on land with no access, so we do not foresee that any new specimens will be obtained.

MA26AL3: Botryoidal growth of very aerial Goethite, with variegated metallic iridescence, of dominant reddish blue, golden and green tones.

N11VAL3: Aggregates of very sharp, lamellar Baryte crystals, translucent, lustrous, and with an intense and uniform blue color. A curiosity since in the Emilio mine there are practically no known blue Barytes.

This piece comes from some small artisanal finds that were made after the mine closed. There is currently no access to the galleries.

NC14AL3: Microcline crystal with very well defined faces and edges, with clear double twinning according to both the Baveno and Manebach twin laws, and implanted in a translucent smoky Quartz crystal with deep and uniform color. Can Vernenc, close to Gualba, is an area that has produced very few collector quality specimens.

DX66AL3: Group of very transparent smoky Quartz crystals on matrix, one of them clearly dominant and partially doubly terminated, with a group of smaller crystals, some of which are also doubly terminated, from the historic Montseny locality where the first finds of amethyst and quality smoky Quartz were made before the recent finds. The Daunis collection was, in the 70s-80s, a reference for local field collectors in the Barcelona area.

NB13AL3: Aggregate with spheroidal Goethite growths with variegated metallic iridescence, very bright, with shades of yellow, blue and greenish grey. From a locality that in general does not stand out for its Goethites.

NV14AL3: Elongated prismatic Celestine crystals, very sharp and some doubly terminated, colorless translucent, on matrix.

Specimen size: 11.3 × 7.1 × 3.3 cm = 4.45” × 2.80” × 1.30”

Main crystal size: 2.4 × 0.7 cm = 0.94” × 0.28”

NB89AL3: Powerful group of Quartz crystals displaying a dipyramidal habit, as the prism is mostly absent, covered by an epigenetic growth of small Siderite crystals. The size of the Quartz crystals and the quality of the piece is much higher than what is usually found in this deposit.
The specimen comes from the Miguel David Martínez collection, whose label we will send to the buyer along with a small poster that certifies that this specimen was displayed in the “Minerals of the Mediterranian 2014” exhibition at the 2014 Expominer Show.
