We highlight the unusual fact that the first generation of Siderite is dominant in this piece, since in Panasqueira it is very rare that this first generation, with its darker color and a certain transparency, is not covered by a second generation of Siderite with a lighter color but much more opaque, which is what gives the siderites there their characteristic appearance.

On the outside there are similar minerals to those inside: Mica and Arsenopyrite.

The octahedral Fluorites are extremely rare at Panasqueira. The crystal, translucent and with an intense lilac-bluish color, has on its back remains of a matrix of crystalline Calcite and molds of missing Calcite crystals. The specimen comes from a recent find in the upper levels of Panasqueira.

TZ57AB6: Aggregate of very sharp octahedral Fluorite crystals, a very rare shape for Panasqueira. They are almost colorless, transparent, and have deep violet cubic phantoms. They are on a crystalline Quartz matrix partially coated by Chlorite, with small Muscovite aggregates and Pyrite crystals. The upper levels of Panasqueira are currently offering surprising and pleasant novelties, with samples that are very different from what has been known from this mine.
