Druse formed by Quartz crystals (amethyst variety), on a Greenalite matrix, with a very short prism,
sharp, transparent, with great luster and a very light violet color, dotted with a multitude of light brown Siderite crystals, some more isolated and others forming spherical aggregates, with a satin luster and velvety appearance, very characteristic for specimens from this emblematic deposit in the La Unión mining district, the San Valentine cut.

very marked penetration twins, between transparent and translucent, in rock matrix. Worthy of note is a great dark phantom in the main crystal, quite uncommon in such a size in specimens from this locality. A classic for Spanish mineralogy and especially for this species.

pseudomorphed by small, but very shiny, Pyrite crystals, some of them iridescent, covering them with
rounded shape the ancient crystals of pyrrhotite. One of the best specimens from a find made in 2018 in one of the best-known and largest mines in the La Unión mining district, in Murcia, the Balsa Depositaria mine.

The pink color in this type of specimen is not due to inclusions of iron oxides but is the natural color of the quartz. The exact location of the find is not yet known.

Very sharp doubly terminated Tremolite crystal, with rounded faces and edges in the upper termination, very lustrous and transparent and implanted in a cavity of a calc-silicate rock with abundant small colorless crystals which are also Tremolite. An interesting perfectly crystallized amphibole, something not very common for a mineral species like Tremolite.

Druse formed by complex twinned crystals of Sphalerite, isolated, deep black, lustrous and with perfectly defined faces and edges with marked striations on one of the crystal faces and some dissolution figures. Associated with crystals of Quartz and globular coatings of cream-colored Siderite crystals, giving a very nice color contrast to the specimen. Finally, small Galena crystals complete the combo.
The Trepča mining complex is one of the largest polymetallic deposits in the world and for many years yielded, and still yields, exceptional pieces of Sphalerite, as well as varied combinations of sulfides and carbonates, as shown by this specimen, from the Ferat Voca collection.
