Fluorescent light (daylight)

SV260MRB

Quartz crystal with well developed prism and termination, slightly translucent, with very sharp faces and edges and partially covered by small rhombohedral Calcite crystals, and with Pyrite inclusions visible mainly on the back of the piece.

Bouismas Mine, Agdz, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region Morocco (2022)

Specimen size: 11.2 x 8.2 x 6.8 cm

Microcline

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SV80MRB

Obtained at Sainte Marie 2022: Floater group of Microcline crystals with polycrystalline growths, well profiled, with very sharp crystal forms and a beautiful cream-white color.

Imilchil area, Anti-Atlas, Er Rachidia Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region Morocco (05/2022)

Specimen size: 12.2 x 8 x 6.3 cm

Main crystal size: 1.5 x 1.3 cm

Microcline

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SV75MTV

Obtained at Sainte Marie 2022: Floater group of Microcline crystals with polycrystalline growths, well profiled, with very sharp crystal forms and a beautiful cream-white color.

Imilchil area, Anti-Atlas, Er Rachidia Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region Morocco (05/2022)

Specimen size: 8.7 x 8 x 5.2 cm

Main crystal size: 3 x 2.2 cm

Cerussite

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SV160EBR

Group of Cerussite crystals on a ferruginous rock matrix with marked complete multiple twins and with a morphology reminiscent of snowflakes, but with scattered crystals and some stacking, which makes this type of Cerussite popularly known as 'jackstraw'.
The specimen is a classic for this American Mine in Arizona, although in this case the crystals are more transparent than is usual in this locality.

Flux Mine, Flux Gulch, Alum Gulch, Patagonia Mountains, Harshaw District, Santa Cruz County, Arizona USA

Specimen size: 4.4 x 4 x 1.3 cm

Main crystal size: 0.4 x 0.1 cm

Calcite (variety kanonenspat) with Quartz

SV190EBE

Group of Calcite crystals with a well-defined pseudohexagonal outline, coated entirely by a second generation of smaller Calcite crystals which are partially dissolved at the end of the prism, and with small Quartz crystals. We have analyzed this type of specimen due to its genetic complexity and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

Jebel Masker, Imilchil area, Tounfit, Khénifra Province, Beni Mellal-Khenifra Region Morocco (09-10/2021)

Specimen size: 19.8 x 19.6 x 10.7 cm

Main crystal size: 6.4 x 2.6 cm

Detail / Photo: Joaquim Callén

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SV860MJA

Elbaite-Schorl series crystals with well defined faces and edges, between transparent and translucent, lustrous, with dominant yellowish brown tones, and a geometric black zone on the termination, popularly known as a "Black Cap". They are in matrix, with very sharp Microcline crystals with growths in a preferred orientation, leafier crystals of Albite and, completing this pegmatite specimen, some crystals of Quartz.

Beni Bouzra (Bni Bouzra), Chefchaouen Province, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region Morocco (2021)

Specimen size: 14.6 x 8.9 x 6 cm

Main crystal size: 3.4 x 1.1 cm

Azurite with Malachite and Quartz

Fluorescent light (daylight)

SV540MBX

Group of equant Azurite crystals, with perfectly defined faces and edges, very lustrous, and a very deep and uniform blue, with marked striations on one of the faces of the crystals and accompanied by fine acicular primary crystals of Malachite arranged in the form of a spray, with a beautiful color contrast to the Azurite, in addition to some Quartz crystals, all with remnants of a limonitic rock matrix.

El Fecht prospects, El Fecht, Oumjrane, Tinghir Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region Morocco (2022)
