Fluorite with Calcite

Group of cubic Fluorite crystals covering two large main crystals of Calcite, one of them rhombohedral at the base of the piece and another in the form of a scalenohedral crown. The Fluorite crystals exhibit very marked bevels and with deeper purplish tones, very typical for the historic locality from which this piece comes, the legendary Josefa-Veneros vein.

Unique central growth of a well-developed crystal on a matrix of translucent and lustrous Quartz crystals. It is an intense pink, almost red, a color which is not due to inclusions of iron oxides, but is its natural color.

Elegant sculpture formed by very sharp Dioptase crystals with well-defined faces and edges, very lustrous and translucent. Deep in color and on a matrix of small crystals of pink Dolomite.

Group of very lustrous Galena crystals with a cubic morphology, rough on the cube faces, and on a matrix of dolomitic rock accompanied by crystals of Calcite, one of them doubly terminated and dominant, as well as several slightly pink Dolomite crystals. Comes from an important Italian mine that was exploited for lead, zinc and barium.

Floater aggregate formed by Aragonite crystals with hexagonal outlines and short whitish grey prism faces. On matrix, accompanied by a crystalline mass of Sulfur with strong color contrast.
A classic of Italian sulfur mining.

Curious specimen with two very different parts: the upper one formed by a multitude of cubic Fluorite crystals with a color gradation from dark to greenish tones and with violet edges; and a lower part formed by Fluorite crystals, but which have been practically covered by coralloid growths formed by Quartz microcrystals with the upper surface stained by Hematite.
It comes from a well-known mining district in Bavaria, Germany.

Cerussite with Malachite

Aggregate of elongated crystals of Cerussite, on matrix, and almost entirely coated by deep green Malachite microcrystals.
The specimen comes from the collection of Michel Perraudin and was found in an old German mine that benefited from lead and zinc.

Bournonite with Galena, Siderite, Quartz and Calcite

Numerous group of Bournonite crystals with very well defined faces and edges, with a marked cyclic twin, bright and with a metallic appearance, deposited on a matrix formed by a total coating of Quartz crystals, without development of the prism, and accompanied by rhombohedral Siderite crystals well defined and bright, in addition to some scalenohedral crystals of whitish Calcite. The piece is completed with a Galena crystal with clearly visible faces of the cube-octahedron.
A German classic from a mine that benefited from lead and silver and with an important pedigree, as attested by the old labels that accompany it.

Aggregate of single Cerussite crystals, some of them with a very marked V-twin. On matrix, bright and translucent, accompanied by small Wulfenite crystals, product of oxidation of the metallic part of the matrix, formed mainly by Galena.

Group of very translucent and brilliant cubic Fluorite crystals, with shades that vary from blue to purple. With marked geometric growths of color, parallel to the edges of the cubes, implanted on a limestone matrix and accompanied by leafy aggregates of crystals of Barite, very characteristic for the deposit, a classic for the Fluorite.

A glory from the past, coming from one of the best pockets found in the San Andrés Mine.

It comes from one of the best pockets in the San Andrés Mine, in Cordoba, Andalusia. A very aesthetic miniature.

Cerussite

Group of Cerussite crystals on a ferruginous rock matrix with marked complete multiple twins and with a morphology reminiscent of snowflakes, but with scattered crystals and some stacking, which makes this type of Cerussite popularly known as 'jackstraw'.
The specimen is a classic for this American Mine in Arizona, although in this case the crystals are more transparent than is usual in this locality.

Phosphates festival, which of them is more complex!
Globular aggregates formed by Guimarãesite, Greifensteinite and Zanazziite with deep greenish tones, on matrix, accompanied by a multitude of perfectly defined and terminated Eosphorite crystals, as well as Microcline crystals with a very marked graphic texture.
A powerful and very representative piece for the deposit, which is the type locality for the Guimarãesita.

Calcite (variety kanonenspat) with Quartz

Group of Calcite crystals with a well-defined pseudohexagonal outline, coated entirely by a second generation of smaller Calcite crystals which are partially dissolved at the end of the prism, and with small Quartz crystals. We have analyzed this type of specimen due to its genetic complexity and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

Elbaite-Schorl series crystals with well defined faces and edges, between transparent and translucent, lustrous, with dominant yellowish brown tones, and a geometric black zone on the termination, popularly known as a "Black Cap". They are in matrix, with very sharp Microcline crystals with growths in a preferred orientation, leafier crystals of Albite and, completing this pegmatite specimen, some crystals of Quartz.

Group of equant Azurite crystals, with perfectly defined faces and edges, very lustrous, and a very deep and uniform blue, with marked striations on one of the faces of the crystals and accompanied by fine acicular primary crystals of Malachite arranged in the form of a spray, with a beautiful color contrast to the Azurite, in addition to some Quartz crystals, all with remnants of a limonitic rock matrix.

Hematite with Quartz

Curious rosette-like growth of lamellar crystals, lustrous and very finely scaly, of Hematite displaying two well-differentiated geometric growths, a triangular central earlier growth and a spherical later perimeter. Quartz crystals are found partially disseminated between the layers of Hematite crystals.
