MMX96AN9: Octahedral crystals of Franklinite with very sharp crystal forms and with the dominant octahedron beveled by the dodecahedron. One of the crystals is clearly dominant and very aerial on a Calcite matrix. We emphasize that the crystal, in addition to being very aerial and complete, is practically free of damage, something really unusual in this type of specimen.
To all this we must add that the specimen comes from the prestigious collections of John Kolic and Chester Lemanski.

Of the best quality for a historical locality, especially for its perfection since these specimens are usually very fragile, often have damage, but this piece is nevertheless perfect. TF48AL1: Very 3-dimensional growth of Malachite pseudomorphing equidimensional crystals of Azurite, with very well defined faces and edges, intense color, on matrix. Before the Azurite started altering to Malachite a thin dark coating, probably Cuprite, formed on the faces of the crystals, as suggested by the mineralogy of the locality and some of the crystalline forms, apparently octahedral, present in the matrix.
This great quality piece comes from the collection of Rock H. Currier (No. 4667) whose label we will send to the buyer.
The specimen is from the Ignacio Gaspar Sintes collection, whose label we will send to the buyer.

TLB72AN3: Very aerial aggregate of thick crystals, with an elongated lenticular habit, very sharp crystal forms with slight curvatures, on Azurite matrix. Has a deep blue color (“electric blue”) typical of the best Milpillas specimens. With transparencies on the edges and a very intense luster. The aggregate is partially covered on the back by aggregates of fibrous Malachite crystals with a silky luster, very characteristic of the famous Milpillas vug that yielded such isolated crystals with this lenticular habit and with fibrous Malachite on the back of most of that vug's specimens.

MBL98AP3: Group of prismatic Pyromorphite crystals, many of them doubly terminated and with color zoning in the center of the crystals, some of them thicker and with hopper terminations. With small traces of matrix formed by tiny Galena crystals. In LED light, the specimen exhibits the greenish tones so typical of this deposit. From a classic locality for the mineralogy of Spain and the European Union, Minas de El Horcajo evokes splendid times in which green lead shone in the darkness of the Malacate and Argentífero shafts. Specimens from this locality and with this quality are increasingly difficult to obtain.

NT92AL5: Centered aggregates of acicular Pyromorphite crystals, with a very vivid green color and good luster. The specimen, from a time period and locality that is historic for both Spanish and European mineralogy, exhibits the most classic habit for this deposit. These specimens are very difficult to obtain because, having only been found at the beginning of the last century, very few specimens have survived.
This specimen has been photographed and published in the magazine ‘Le Règne Minéral’ number 154/2020, page 45, and the Russian magazine ‘Mineral Observer’ on page 84 in the volume 26/2021, number 1

The specimen comes from the collection of Ignacio Gaspar Sintes (number FLu-34) and was previously in that of Raúl Sanabria Orellana. We will send the buyer the labels from both collections.

NZL87AP3: A pair of interpenetrant Fluorite crystals of an exceptional size for the deposit, with a very deep and uniform purple-blue color, being of a darker tone, more intense on the edges (best seen in the backlit photo). The crystals have perfectly sharp cube faces with polycrystalline growths on the crystal faces and also on one of the edges, which may seem broken but, in reality, it is recrystallized with polycrystalline growths. Coming from the well-known Asturian mine of La Viesca, specifically from one of the best vugs ever found there: the Las Monjas vug, discovered in May 2010

EX92AM1: Short doubly terminated prismatic Fluorapatite crystal, with very well defined faces and edges, lustrous, and with a distinct geometric color zoning, popularly known in Panasqueira as “olho de boi” (ox's eye), with intense and uniform blue-violet prism faces. On a matrix of Quartz crystals, with lenticular Siderite crystals, Chlorite coatings and leafy Muscovite aggregates. This color is very rare in Panasqueira and more so in pieces of such quality, which are usually old pieces, as in this case.

On the Baryte matrix there are small tabular crystals of the same Baryte but with a very orange color, probably due to inclusions of iron oxides.

In addition, the crystals are covered by very unusual orange Sphalerite crystals (analyzed) which form globular groups.
The specimen undoubtedly owes its rarity to the fact that it is very old and comes from the collection of Pierre-Marie Guy, who was the one who acquired it from the miner Robert Guy.

EPX50AP3: Of exceptional size, a group of interpenetrating cubic Fluorite crystals totally covered by small Quartz crystals that give it a multitude of bright reflective points. The Fluorite crystals are a delicate green that looks good when backlit. Coming from an old French mine that was exploited for Fluorite and which was active between 1938 and 1971.
The specimen comes from the collection of Christophe Marot and was found by Grégoire de Bodinat and Sylvain Desfarge in 2009

An important find mined between August and September 2022 in the Bou Nahas Mine in Morocco yielded a series of barytes, among them this floater specimen, formed by very thick tabular crystals of considerable dimensions, aerial and with perfectly defined faces and edges, of a very uniform light blue color, more yellowish towards the vertices of the crystals. As a curiosity, note that it is accompanied by small very white crystals of saccharoidal Quartz that is somehow reminiscent of a carbonate.

Gold from Guelmim-Oued Noun

During the year 2020, images, videos and many rumors began to circulate about the discovery of high-quality Golds in the Southwest of Morocco. With the Covid situation it was difficult to go to or to leave Morocco, so it was quite a long time until the first pieces arrived in Europe. Once here, very reliable analyses had to be done to ensure that these new Golds were natural. They were so perfect and, some of them so different from the Golds that had been known before from Southwestern Morocco that to avoid suspicions it was best to have the analytical data prior to putting them on sale. Between one thing and another we have had to wait a bit but at the end of 2020 we can finally offer these specimens of great beauty and very different from what has been known so far.
We attach here the analysis, which as you can see is very complete, to avoid doubts about it.

MLR97AP3: Spherical aggregates formed of a multitude of acicular Malachite crystals of excellent, very deep and uniform green color, with their well-known velvety appearance, becoming darker in the center of the spheres, with a lighter colored edging at the ends of the needles. In rock matrix, the light colored Dolomite crystals stand out at the base of the piece creating a nice color contrast. Coming from a world class deposit, the Tsumeb Mine, at which two people, both now deceased, played a key role in the supply of quality specimens: Charles Key and Sidney Pieters, the latter having been the original source of this specimen, which was later in a French collection. Accompanied by a “waterfall” of crystals of very sharp cream-colored Orthoclase, Quartz (smoky variety) forming divergent groups and, especially interesting, crystals of orange colored Zircon growing on Quartz crystals. A specimen that represents, apart from its evident aesthetics and its world novelty, a complete treatise on mineralogy, starting with a cobalt-bearing Dolomite (which has since disappeared during the process), followed by successive substitutions in which more copper was added, leaving as a final result Kolwezite-Malachite in pseudomorphic shapes after crystals of the initial cobalt-bearing Dolomite, and greenish blue Chrysocolla pseudomorphs after Baryte, with a stage of Malachite growth, also pseudomorphic after Baryte.
The discovery of this morphological and chemical complexity will soon be reported more extensively in an upcoming article in the French magazine Le Règne Minéral.

TE16AN2: A historical piece, since the first 'top' Rhodochrosites from the Kalahari area were found in Hotazel before they were also found in N'Chwaning.
It is a druse of very sharp and well separated scalenohedral crystals, between transparent and translucent, lustrous and with a very intense and uniform color. A magnificent classic of African mineralogy in which some crystals have cleavages, something very difficult to avoid in specimens of this type and size, although it does not affect the general aesthetics of the piece, considering its global quality.

TH97AL5: Group of Elbaite crystals (indicolite variety) forming parallel growths with very sharply pointed polycrystalline pyramidal terminations. The crystals are transparent, with great luster, mostly blue but with pink tones in the lower part. This is one of the few large specimens saved for collectors from the lucky finds of the 1980s, most of which went to the gem trade for faceting, which yielded crystals with a quality and density of color, and luster, far superior to previous finds. A unique specimen which demonstrates how very unpredictable Nature can be.

MFR6AP3: One of the best, if not the best, Imayoshiite of very large size, coming from the 2021 finds that yielded the best known so far for the species. On a good size group of very lustrous twinned Sphalerite crystals several Calcite crystals with dominant scalenohedral forms have been precipitated and then were in turn covered almost entirely by whitish Shinichengite (this new mineral species was initially labeled as possible Tobermorite-Clinotobermorite) and, finally, a large quantity of Imayoshiite crystals of a pale cream color. Thanks to three "windows" in the Calcite crystals we can see the whole process of formation. This very "geological" specimen has been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

The group is on matrix with lamellar Muscovite crystals, and small very lustrous water-clear crystals of Fluorapatite in the front, and larger crystals of pink Fluorapatite in the back, together with white rhombohedral Calcite crystals. An especially elegant specimen in which the perfection and the absence of damage to the crystals and their harmonious arrangement on the matrix make it aesthetically pleasing, something that does not normally occur in this species.

ERJ92AN5: Group of Fluorite crystals, basically octahedral in habit but also with smooth cube faces along with the octahedral faces (and other crystallographic forms) incorporating very extensive and easily visible fine polycrystalline growths. The crystals are large, transparent, with very bright luster and an intense and uniform pink color, on a matrix of very sharp lamellar crystals of Muscovite. Exceptional.

NRX47AO0: Fan-shaped growths of Epidote crystals with a prismatic habit with very well defined and sharp crystal forms, translucent, with good luster and an intense, deep and uniform green color. On a matrix of water-clear Quartz crystals, one of them with a contact that gives it a different termination from the other central crystal.
The specimen comes from the Miguel David Martínez collection (number 479), whose label we will send to the buyer.

BLA86AO5: Very sharp octahedral crystal of Spinel (ruby spinel variety), whose growth appears flattened by one of the faces being more developed than the rest. Between transparent and translucent, with good luster and a very vivid and uniform red color, on Calcite matrix.

ET73AM1: New (in part) after the 2020 Sainte Marie Virtual show. From a classic Turkish locality but with a different morphology and color. With its vertical twin plane, this crystal, which is transparent and of great fineness and quality, has excellent terminal faces and very good luster. With yellow-green tones and very distinct dichroism, its color changes between soft red and green, this being visible in all kinds of light, even natural light.

Diaspore on Chloritoid and with Margarite

Elongated Diaspore crystals, two of them clearly dominant, with very sharp crystal forms with excellent terminations, transparent, with good luster and a nice light yellow color. On matrix on abundant well crystallized Chloritoid and with white fibrous and lamellar intergrowths of Margarite. The specimen is of an extraordinary elegance and perfection.
The Chloritoid has been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

ER94AM1: A large doubly terminated scepter and stepped crystal of Diaspore with polycrystalline terminations, transparent, lustrous, yellow with green reflections and partially covered in some areas by leafy growths of Margarite. A very remarkable specimen both for its size and color and for its perfection.

ET26AM1: Extraordinarily shiny floater crystal of Wittichenite with complex polycrystalline growths dominated by finely striated prism faces and smoother bipyramid faces. The specimen was part of the lucky find in 1981 from which only a few crystals were recovered, since then considered "icons" as they are the best known for the species.
The sample has been noted and photographed in the article 'Wittichenite from the Cattle Grid Pit, Mount Gunson mine, South Australia' of the ‘Mineralogical Record‘ magazine on page 140 in the volume 44, number 2, March-April 2013, and published in the Russian magazine ‘Mineral Observer’ on page 87 in the volume 26/2021, number 1
