La Marina Mine is located in Pauna Municipality, Boyacá Department, Colombia, within the western emerald mining zone of the country. It belongs to the Western Emerald Belt, where deposits occur in fractured and sheared Cretaceous shales and limestones that acted as conduits for beryllium-rich hydrothermal fluids. In this geological setting, metasomatic processes produced La Marina emeralds, associated with carbonates, pyrite, quartz, and fluorite, within a structural context controlled by Andean compressive tectonics.

EPP74XXX: Euclase crystal with perfectly defined faces and edges, well-marked striations on the prism and smooth faces on the bipyramid, perfectly terminated. Of a delicate blue color, translucent, and implanted on a matrix formed by Calcite crystals. A small but very elegant specimen, with a very aerial arrangement of the Euclase crystal on the matrix, which enhances the beauty of the whole.

Gachalá is located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Colombian Andes, within the Eastern Emerald Belt. The area is dominated by Cretaceous marine sedimentary rocks (black shales, limestones, and sandstones) affected by Andean folding and faulting. The famous emeralds formed from low-temperature hydrothermal systems involving beryllium-rich fluids migrating through fractures and bedding planes.

EA27AM8: Very lustrous and contrasted skeletal crystals and leafy growths of Gold on the rock matrix. The specimen comes from a recent find in a mining area of Colombia that was very little known until recently.

EG90AF9: Very sharp growth of flattened Gold crystals, very bright and on a rocky matrix partially coated by micro-crystalline Quartz. The sample is from a not yet well-known Colombian mining area.

TC230TK: Group of equidimensional Gold crystals, very shiny, on a Quartz matrix with microcrystalline Pyrite. The specimen comes from a mining area of Colombia that is very little known so far.
