NJ8N1: Transparent crystal, very uniform, natural citrine color and sectorial color zoning on terminal faces with an enlargement of one of the rhombohedron faces. A Spanish classic.

MC60H1: The definition of the crystals, free of damage, is perfect. Its yellow color is not very intense but is uniform and clearly visible. The specimen is from a recent find in a classic Spanish mine, very well known in the past by its natural citrine Quartz, but where no significant samples had been found for a very long time.

N9BL6: From the last mining works that tried to exploit again the Quarries in Lumbrales, a very interesting Quartz crystal with sharp faces and edges, and a slight and uniform smoky tone at the top, milky at the base. One can see some geometric hoppered growth forms. With Orthoclase and kaolinized Mica.

Turquoise with Wavellite
 

NA57L2: The phosphate deposit of Palazuelo de las Cuevas (Zamora, Spain) is well known for the presence of Variscite. This mineral was mined by Prehistoric man. Variscite occasionally is accompanied by Turquoise, Wavellite and other phosphates. In this specimen the coating of Turquoise, as small globular and leafy microcrystal blue greenish aggregates, contrasts with the botryoidal Wavellite. We’ll provide a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

N6AI0: The locality is well known for Variscite but occasionally some samples of Turquoise had been found there. On the specimen are two microcrystalline concretions of Turquoise on a Wavellite matrix of acicular crystals forming radial greenish yellow aggregates. We’ll provide a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

NB58P4: A very uniform light green concretion on slate matrix, with hollows and channels showing drusy crystals on their surfaces. The locality is not very well known for this species.

TC220NB: Cinnabar crystal with a sharp star twin, with a very vivid color, on matrix, with Quartz and Calcite. Of high quality for the deposit that is a classic of Spanish mineralogy but from which few specimens were preserved.

NG26AF2: Sharp rhombohedral Cinnabar crystals on matrix. They have an intense red color and have hoppered growths with very small Quartz crystals.

NH46AF2: Rhombohedral Cinnabar crystals on matrix. They have an intense red color and their faces and edges are very well defined, , with some hoppered faces that have small Quartz crystals inside of them.

NC27AH7: An alignment of rhombohedral Cinnabar crystals that have a very good luster and color and whose faces and edges are very much better defined than usual on samples from this locality. They are on massive Quartz matrix. An excellent Spanish classic with very few samples available today.

Valentinite with Stibnite
 

NT36AH5: A novelty at Expominer 2017. Fan-like aggregates of acicular and fibrous Valentinite crystals of a white color with slightly orangish shades, a very intense silky luster, and on a Stibnite matrix.

The María Teresa Mine lies in the Riaño area, within Riaño Municipality, León Province, Castile and León. The site belongs to the southern Cantabrian Mountains and hosts hydrothermal antimony veins where primary Stibnite alters to Valentinite in near-surface oxidation zones. These supergene processes produce fibrous crystals and fan-like aggregates within fractures linked to Alpine-age structures.

VA16J1: Columnar and crested growths of small, white, very bright crystals. Crystallization has occurred on the interior of an empty fossil sponge which made the cavity where the geode formed.

TVB56XXX: Curious morphology of this specimen, as it consists of sand concretions formed mainly by siliceous clasts, mostly Quartz, which have been cemented by Calcite acting as a binder and giving rise to the genesis of several concretionary individuals of whimsical and sculptural forms, mainly rounded and of white color zoning to yellowish due to clay inclusions and oxidations.
This type of specimens and formations are locally known as 'pítoles' in the Segovia area.

NF60T6: A novelty at Munich 2011. Very well defined octahedral crystals, one of them clearly dominant. The crystals are firmly based in an etched Calcite matrix. They are from a recent find in the area of the La Divina Providencia Mine, the type locality for the species, and they have bigger and better defined crystals than usual in the samples found before at this locality.

SM90NRT: Aggregates of sharp octahedral Villamaninite crystals, with parallel growths, on a Calcite matrix. More lustrous than usual for the species. From a find made between 2010 and 2011 in the La Divina Providencia mine area, which is the type locality for the species, with larger and sharper crystals than most of the specimens historically found in the locality.

SV390ETY: Floater group of twinned Aragonite crystals, with a thick tabular habit, translucent, lustrous and purple.
A classic of Spanish mineralogy with higher quality than usual.
The specimen has been reinforced to avoid the separation of the crystals from each other due to local changes in climate that cause the clay between the crystals to expand and contract and end up drying out. This procedure is common for this type of Aragonite and it is generally accepted for specimens with very large aerial crystals.

XM260NFF: Specimen formed by several thick tabular interpenetrant twin crystals of Aragonite, two of which are clearly dominant, with deeper purple color in the center and lighter around
the ends of the crystals. From a classic Spanish mineral locality, La Pesquera in Cuenca, this type of specimen is found in Triassic age strata, specifically in the Keuper facies that occupies a considerable portion of Cuenca's geography.

N8BL6: From a not so well known area at La Pesquera, North of Minglanilla (Cuenca), we present this curious doubly terminated Aragonite specimen that shows on prism faces brownish and violet tones. Probably the most interesting thing are the delicate fibrous terminations on both sides and its good size. For specialized collectors.

TCL96AP9: Group of doubly terminated Aragonite crystals with very defined parallel growths, with good luster and lilac color. Unlike many other such aragonite crystal groups, this one has its crystals in sufficiently stable positions that it has not been necessary to reinforce them.

ETF11AQ0: Floater group of Aragonite crystals with a short prismatic habit, translucent, with good luster and an intense violet color.
The specimen has been reinforced to avoid the separation of the crystals from each other due to local changes in climate that cause the clay between the crystals to expand and contract and end up drying out. This procedure is common for this type of Aragonite and it is generally accepted for specimens with very large aerial crystals.
