TR98AL5: Hexagonal floater crystal, with very marked polycrystalline growths, shiny, transparent and with an intense deep blue color. The species, a magnesium-potassium cyclosilicate, is a rarity recently (2019) approved by the IMA. The specimen comes from the type locality for the species. Accompanied by an original label signed by Laurent Thomas, after whom the species is named.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 42 of the 2020/02 edition.
