TFB12XXX: Group of very lustrous Baryte crystals forming an aggregate with an arborescent appearance, with partial inclusions of iron oxides that give yellowish and brown tones to some of the crystals. Particularly notable are the curious shape of the group and the contrast between the white and colored areas.
The specimen belonged to the prestigious Bill Dameron collection.

The Kremikovtsi Mine exploits an important iron, manganese, barium, and sulfide deposit hosted in carbonate rocks and considered to be of sedimentary-exhalative (SEDEX) type. Several stages of mineralization have been recognized in the deposit, from sedimentary-hydrothermal and hydrothermal-metasomatic processes to later supergene alteration, responsible for the formation of abundant iron oxides and hydroxides.
