TC89AL2: A novelty at Tucson 2020. Doubly terminated floater Tremolite crystal (Cr-bearing variety), with very well defined faces and edges and with two different but sharp terminations, one with rough faces and the opposite end polycrystalline. The crystal, with small coatings of white Dolomite, is of unusually large size, with an intense luster between vitreous and silky, and much more transparent than usual in specimens from this area. Green-gray in color with bluish tints. From a very recent find, the quality is superior to that generally known in the St. Lawrence County area.
