TA14AL1: A novelty at Tucson 2020. Cinnabar crystals with dominant rhombohedral habit, along with other minor crystal forms, translucent, extraordinarily brilliant and very bright in color, on matrix with small crystals of Calcite and Quartz. The specimen comes from a recent find and has been carefully analyzed and determined to be Cinnabar. It has been said that in specimens from this find there could be Metacinnabar too, but our analyses have not detected any. We’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
