RBF42XXX: Topaz crystal, of considerable size for the locality, with complete development and without visible attachment points (floater). It is of blue color of moderate intensity and good transparency and shows irregular but well-defined faces.
It comes from the Folch collection (duplicates) and was found in 1975, which adds historical value to the specimen.

From a geological point of view, Topaz from this area forms in relation to late hydrothermal processes associated with granitic intrusions, where fluorine-rich fluids favor crystallization in open cavities, giving rise to crystals like this one.
