NZR47AN4: Group of large, very sharp rhombohedral Siderite crystals with a dark brown color, translucent on the edges and with small partial coatings of a second generation of Siderite with a lighter cream color. They are associated with leafy muscovite aggregates. We highlight the unusual fact that the first generation of Siderite is dominant in this piece, since in Panasqueira it is very rare that this first generation, with its darker color and a certain transparency, is not covered by a second generation of Siderite with a lighter color but much more opaque, which is what gives the siderites there their characteristic appearance.
