NBA10XXX: Massive Chrysocolla of bluish-green colour occupying cavities and fractures in the matrix, associated with Malachite crystals. The presence of crystallized Malachite is the most interesting aspect of the specimen, since Malachite rarely occurs forming crystals. Both species occur in close association, as a result of the alteration processes affecting copper mineralizations.

The specimen comes from local prospects located in the Eastern area of La Granada de Riotinto. The find resulted from the prospecting work carried out by the local prospector Fermín Clemente, in whose collection the specimen remained for many years.
