JFD25AN6: Totally different from what is normally expected from the Josefa-Veneros vein, this piece surprised me when I got it, but since it was from Dr. Anton Forster, a mining engineer and collaborator of Dr. Maucher at the University of Munich, that confirmed to me that it was really from there. Dr. Forster was head of geology at La Collada when the famous specimens from the Josefa-Veneros vein were being found. He only worked there during that period and, since the piece indeed has all the appearance of being from the La Collada area and not from La Viesca, after checking it with José Ramón García we came to the conclusion that, although unusual, it must indeed be from Josefa-Veneros.
