FF86H5: Fluorites from Zinnwald are very rare. The locality is one of the great classics in the history of mineralogy. On the sample the cubes of Fluorite form a crowd on the upper part of the matrix that has Quartz crystals and laminar crystals of Zinnwaldite of pseudohexagonal habit and perfectly sharp. We call attention to Zinnwald as a type locality for Zinnwaldite. The specimen's photo has been reviewed and published in the magazine ‘Rocks & Minerals’ on page 159 in the volume 82, number 2.
