19CMP14: Group formed by three interpenetrating Galena crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with perfectly defined faces and edges and with polycrystalline growths on some of the crystal faces. Characteristic lead-grey color and dull luster, accompanied by whitish tabular Baryte crystals on the back of the piece and small scattered remnants of Calcite. Comes from a mining district which exploited Pb and Zn minerals for a century.
This specimen comes from the former collection (duplicates) of Carles Curto (number 1982.43), whose label we will send to the buyer.
