From Sanguozhuang, China, a lead and zinc mining locality that is also the type locality for five new mineral species.

TBR66AO4: Veszelyite on Hemimorphite
Rosette aggregates of very sharp Veszelyite crystals on matrix, with well-defined crystal forms, translucent, with good luster, and an intense and uniform color. The Sanguozhuang area lies within the Dongchuan copper–polymetallic district, one of the most significant in southwestern China. Mineralization is mainly hosted in Proterozoic volcano-sedimentary sequences, with stratiform and vein-type sulfide bodies that have undergone strong supergene alteration. This environment favors the formation of secondary Copper and Zinc minerals, including Veszelyite, related to oxidation processes in the upper parts of the ore bodies.

Veszelyite crystals isolated or in small groups, very sharp, of extraordinary quality for the species and very similar to the famous ones from the Black Pine mine but even more intense in color. They are translucent, lustrous and deep blue, and on a matrix with green Cuprodongchuanite and white Hemimorphite. Only a few specimens of this type were uncovered during the finds of the year 2021.

MTR47CD3: Veszelyite with Hemimorphite
Classic example of secondary mineralization with elements such as Cu and Zn, formed by supergene alteration. On a rock matrix covered by botryoidal Hemimorphite crystals of a uniform bluish green color, aggregates of very lustrous crystals of a much deeper blue tone, almost electric-blue, of Veszelyite, a rare copper-zinc phosphate, have been deposited. In this case they exhibit good definition of the crystals, which is not very common in specimens from this find.
