TC86AL6: Tremolite (Cr-bearing variety / consolidated) with Dolomite

A novelty at Tucson 2020. Elongated Tremolite crystals (chromium-bearing variety), one of them clearly dominant, on a Dolomite matrix, with marked scepter growth. They have very well defined faces and edges, good terminal faces and an intense luster between crystalline and silky. It exhibits greater transparency than usual in specimens from this area and a beautiful gray-green color with bluish tints. From a recent find, the quality is also far superior to what is generally known from the St. Lawrence County area. The crystal was reinforced, already at origin, in two spots on the prism to avoid its possible separation.

A novelty at Tucson 2020. Floater doubly terminated Tremolite crystal (Cr-bearing variety), with sharp faces and edges and two distinct terminations, with rough faces, with an intense luster between vitreous and silky, and much more transparent than usual in specimens from this area. Green-gray color with bluish tints. From a very recent find, the quality is superior to that generally known in the St. Lawrence County area.

TT56AL1: Tremolite (Cr-bearing variety)

A novelty at Tucson 2020. Doubly terminated floater crystal with very well defined faces and edges and two different terminations, one of them polycrystalline and the opposite end with a very deep hopper. The crystal is grey-green with bluish tints, has an intense luster between vitreous and silky, and is much more transparent than usual in specimens from this area. From a very recent find, with a quality superior to what is generally known in St. Lawrence County.
