This Plattnerite comes from the great find made in the Preguiça Mine by a group of people from Huelva in the years 2005-2006. Very graceful, with the contrast between the very lustrous small crystals of Plattnerite and the white Calcite. When I bought them I had them analyzed by Joan Viñals and the analysis confirmed that they were indeed plattnerites.

MR10M9: Plattnerite with Calcite

Small but well defined and bright crystals of this very uncommon species. They are partially covered by stalagmitic growths of Calcite whose color is between orange and creamy.

Irregular aggregate of black crystals, small but very well defined and bright, of this very uncommon species. They are on globular Calcite whose color is between orange and creamy.

Irregular aggregate of black crystals, small but very well defined and bright, of this very uncommon species. They are on a matrix of globular Calcite whose color is between orange and white.

MBT48CD6: Plattnerite with Calcite and Hemimorphite

Spherical aggregates of dark acicular Plattnerite crystals with intense metallic luster, implanted in limonitic matrix, and accompanied by translucent white Calcite crystals. When analyzing the specimen it was seen that there were also small Hemimorphite crystals distributed among the plattnerites. The specimen comes from the collection of duplicates of Carles Curto (number 1977.16), whose digital catalogue file we will send to the buyer.
