Polished section of basaltic rock, in this case a gabbro rich in Ilmenite, Olivine (group), Anorthite (labradorite variety) and Clinopyroxene, in which a group of globules scattered in the matrix stand out, very bright and with sculptural forms, of native iron, an element very rare on Earth both on the surface and in the mantle, but which in this remote locality in northern Siberia has produced very interesting specimens.
The genesis of this type of specimen is due to the presence of a carbonaceous layer in contact with the gabbro.
