Group on matrix of very sharp crystals of Hureaulite with well defined faces and edges, finely striated, shiny and with an intense color. This specimen is from the prestigious Thomas P. Moore collection, whose label we will send to the buyer, and was previously in the Folch collection of duplicates (#3314)

TC66AJ3: Hureaulite
A cluster of Hureaulite crystals that have very well defined faces and edges. They are translucent and bright with a very intense salmon-pink color and are on matrix, with small black Rockbridgeite crystals.
We’ll send the sample in its original Perkin’s box from the R.J. Noble collection, also containing the collection label.

EH6Y0: Hureaulite
Druse, on Quartz matrix, of short prismatic Huréaulite crystals. They are transparent and bright and have an excellent salmon pink color, with darker terminations on some areas on the sample.

RT62J1: Hureaulite
Very well defined, with excellent color, crystals from this locality are classic for the species. The crystals contrast on a dark matrix, they are quite individualized and some of them are doubly terminated.
We will send an old label of the sample, from Dr. H. Maucher, Munich, to the buyer.

RH6F9: Hureaulite
Faces of crystals are specially well defined, much more than is common for this phosphate, and the size is also considerable. In the label it's shown as Wenzelite (the old name for this species) with the proper correction.

Druse, on rocky matrix, of very Sharp crystals with very well defined faces and edges. They are translucent, bright and with an unusual and changing color, between clear pink and slightly yellowish pink.

MM6I5: Hureaulite with Correianevesite and Rockbridgeite
Very well defined bright crystals, between translucent and transparent and having an exceptional color. The base is Correianevesite, also crystallized and in some zones of the specimen there are small black crystals of Rockbridgeite. A recent study of the crystals from the Cigana Mine that in 2006 were identified as Reddingite has shown the discovery of the rare species Correianevesite. So, the old Reddingite from Cigana must be renamed as Correianevesite, being Cigana Mine, at Galiléia, the type locality. We’ll send a copy of the analysis of the original “Reddingite” to the buyer.

MY50I8: Hureaulite with Correianevesite, Rockbridgeite and Strengite
The specimen is high quality. It has short prismatic crystals, very sharp and of excellent color. They are bright and partially covered by small black crystals of Rockbridgeite and brownish crystals of Correianevesite. The matrix is Strengite's rich. A recent study of the crystals from the Cigana Mine that in 2006 were identified as Reddingite has shown the discovery of the rare species Correianevesite. So, the old Reddingite from Cigana must be renamed as Correianevesite, being Cigana Mine, at Galiléia, the type locality. We’ll send a copy of the analysis of the original “Reddingite” to the buyer.

TLM66XXX: Hureaulite with Phosphosiderite and Rockbridgeite
Group of cream-orange Hureaulite tabular crystals on massive Quartz matrix, with violet Phosphosiderite crystals, especially visible on the back side, and dark Rockbridgeite crystals that provide an interesting color contrast to the whole specimen. The specimen comes from a very particular locality: the small Bendada mines in Portugal, where pegmatitic veins associated with phosphates and silicates are found.

Druse of very well defined and sharp Hureaulite crystals, from translucent to transparent, lustrous and with an intense pink color. On matrix, with small black Rockbridgeite crystals.

SV3380TAX: Hureaulite with Rockbridgeite


A Hureaulite with dark-colored Rockbridgeite. This is one of the older ones from Fazenda Pomaroli, which tend to have a deeper color and a higher density of crystals compared to the more modern ones from the Cigana Mine.

Nice miniature, very aerial and esthetic, that forms a group of short prismatic crystals of excellent color, bright and partially covered by small black crystals of Rockbridgeite.
