Group of Hemimorphite crystals, in matrix, with a pearly luster and bluish staining, well terminated, with neat faces, associated with small groups of green crystals that, upon analysis, correspond to a copper silicate, most likely Chrysocolla.
This very old specimen comes from the Elkhorn mining area in Montana, which was operating from the late 19th century to the early 20th century, and from which not many crystallized specimens are known, and even fewer of good quality.
The specimen comes from the Moutet collection of Marseille and is accompanied by an old Deyrolle label (Paris) and has been analyzed. We will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
