TZZ54CD6: Grandidierite
Grandidierite crystal of considerable size for the species, of a very uniform and deep bluish green color, and accompanied in the base of the crystal by a pseudomorph, possibly after Tourmaline, replaced by minerals whose species could not be clearly identified, beyond being a mixture of silica gel with remnants of Opal. Mineralogy never ceases to surprise us, and certainly the pegmatites of Madagascar do not stop surprising us.
Tranomaro-Maromby mining area, Amboasary District, Anosy Region  Madagascar
Specimen size: 4.1 × 3.4 × 1.2 cm = 1.61” × 1.34” × 0.47”

ED56AL5: Grandidierite
Undoubtedly one of the best, if not the best, uncut Grandidierite crystal found in the deposit, both for the perfection of its crystal forms and for its luster, transparency and color intensity, as well as for its gem quality. All this made it worthy of being on the cover of the German magazine Mineralien Welt, and it was also featured in the Mineralogical Record.
This specimen is on the front cover of the 'Mineralien Welt' edition 06/2019, and has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery of Munich 2019 in the ‘Mineralogical Record’ on page 380 in the volume 51, number 2, May-April 2020, and in the Russian magazine ‘Mineral Observer’ on page 85 in the volume 26/2021, number 1

TM49AI2: Grandidierite with Feldspar
Some minerals are fortunate, either for the time they were discovered, or by the circumstances of their discovery or even by the place where they were found and beyond their greater or lesser beauty, of having become true myths of mineralogy. This is what happens with the Grandidierite of which, in addition, recent discoveries of an exceptional quality have been made to date, as is the case with this splendid individual flattened crystal with faces and edges unusually sharp and with the top termination very well defined while the lower termination is polycrystalline and somewhat rough. The crystal is bright, between transparent and translucent and it has a very deep and uniform bluish-green color.
Tranomaro Commune, Tranomaro-Maromby mining area, Amboasary District, Anosy Region  Madagascar (02-06/2017)
Specimen size: 3.9 × 1 × 0.3 cm = 1.54” × 0.39” × 0.12”
.
EAG96CD1: Grandidierite with Feldspar
Unusual, both due to the fact that the crystal is isolated and well defined in its Feldspar matrix as well as for being so aerial, so free, so that its morphology is perfectly displayed. Very few grandidierites have been found in matrix and even fewer so aerial.
Grandidierite deposit, Tranomaro Commune, Tranomaro-Maromby mining area, Amboasary District, Anosy Region  Madagascar (2017-2018)
Specimen size: 3.2 × 1.8 × 1.7 cm = 1.26” × 0.71” × 0.67”

Main crystal size: 1.4 × 1 cm = 0.55” × 0.39”
.
MQ28AG8: Grandidierite with Feldspar
Grandidierite is one of the great myths of mineralogy, especially in the field of rare species. It was believed that we would never see more Grandidierites of such quality as those that exist in the great museums of the world, especially the museums of Paris, but for a couple of years in a little-known Madagascar site excellent Grandidierites have been appearing, some of them of as great quality as the famous specimens that appeared in the past.
This specimen was photographed for the ‘Munich 2017’ section of the magazine ‘Mineralien Welt’ and appears on page 70 of number 1/2018, and for the magazine ‘Mineralogical Record’ on page 338 in the volume 49, number 2
