MC26J4: Euclase
A clear prismatic crystal with very well defined faces and edges and curious inclusions. Its luster is excellent.
Mãe dos Homens, Capelinha, Vale do Jequitinhonha, Minas Gerais  Brazil (±1970)
Specimen size: 3.3 × 2.4 × 1 cm = 1.30” × 0.94” × 0.39”
.
TZB37AN5: Euclase
Isolated crystal of Euclase, very rich in faces and with excellent terminations. It is transparent, very lustrous, rich in inclusions, colorless and with small white coatings of matrix. We will ship the specimen in its original Perky box from the Robert J. (Bob) Noble collection, which also contains the label.
Conselheiro Pena, Vale do Rio Doce, Minas Gerais  Brazil
Specimen size: 2.7 × 1.8 × 1.4 cm = 1.06” × 0.71” × 0.55”
.
ML49AI6: Euclase
Brazilian Euclase is a classic that must not be missing in any collection and, as a magnificent example, here is this parallel growth of very sharp crystals, colorless with an extraordinary luster and of a considerable length for the species.
The sample is from the Uwe Niemeyer collection (Germany) whose label we’ll send to the buyer.
Santana do Encoberto, São Sebastião do Maranhão, Minas Gerais  Brazil
Specimen size: 4.5 × 2.6 × 1.8 cm = 1.77” × 1.02” × 0.71”
.
TM97J6: Euclase
One of the most conspicuous novelties of 2007 on China. The crystals, on matrix and with morphology very different to those from other classic localities, show an extraordinary definition of their faces and edges and an excellent luster. The locality seems to be correct but as usual on novelties from this country, we are waiting the time confirm it.
Piaotang Mine, Dayu, Ganzhou Prefecture, Jiangxi Province  China (2007)
Specimen size: 3.4 × 1.9 × 1.8 cm = 1.34” × 0.75” × 0.71”

Main crystal size: 1.6 × 1.3 cm = 0.63” × 0.51”

EPP74XXX: Euclase on Calcite
Euclase crystal with perfectly defined faces and edges, well-marked striations on the prism and smooth faces on the bipyramid, perfectly terminated. Of a delicate blue color, translucent, and implanted on a matrix formed by Calcite crystals. A small but very elegant specimen, with a very aerial arrangement of the Euclase crystal on the matrix, which enhances the beauty of the whole. Gachalá is located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Colombian Andes, within the Eastern Emerald Belt. The area is dominated by Cretaceous marine sedimentary rocks (black shales, limestones, and sandstones) affected by Andean folding and faulting. The famous emeralds formed from low-temperature hydrothermal systems involving beryllium-rich fluids migrating through fractures and bedding planes.
Gachalá mining district, Municipio Gachalá, Eastern Emerald Belt, Cundinamarca Department  Colombia
Specimen size: 3.2 × 3.0 × 2.2 cm = 1.26” × 1.18” × 0.87”
.
TR49H6: Euclase on Quartz
A sample of high quality, with a magnificent crystal, doubly terminated, transparent, bright and of an excellent aquamarine color. It is implanted on a floater group of flat Quartz crystals.
Equador, Parelhas, Caicó, Rio Grande do Norte  Brazil (2006)
Specimen size: 15 × 6.2 × 2.7 cm = 5.91” × 2.44” × 1.06”

Main crystal size: 1.5 × 0.8 cm = 0.59” × 0.31”
.
NB26AF1: Euclase with Calcite
Parallel aggregate of sharp Euclase crystals with well-defined faces and edges, transparent, bright, with a nice and uniform blue color. Partially coated by small white Calcite crystals. An excellent miniature.
This specimen has been photographed and published in the bulletin ‘MiniBul A.G.A.B.’ on page 18 of number 2/2021 La Marina Mine is located in Pauna Municipality, Boyacá Department, Colombia, within the western emerald mining zone of the country. It belongs to the Western Emerald Belt, where deposits occur in fractured and sheared Cretaceous shales and limestones that acted as conduits for beryllium-rich hydrothermal fluids. In this geological setting, metasomatic processes produced La Marina emeralds, associated with carbonates, pyrite, quartz, and fluorite, within a structural context controlled by Andean compressive tectonics.
La Marina Mine, Municipio Pauna, Western Emerald Belt, Boyacá Department  Colombia (06-07/2015)
Specimen size: 3.1 × 1.5 × 0.8 cm = 1.22” × 0.59” × 0.31”
.
SV2280TRF: Euclase with Feldspar
Group of sharp Euclase crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with defined faces and edges, translucent, and uniform deep blue in color. Gem quality, well terminated and with remnants of whitish Feldspar matrix, from the Gachalá mining district. The specimen comes via the collection of J.P. Fouquet.
Gachalá mining district, Municipio Gachalá, Eastern Emerald Belt, Cundinamarca Department  Colombia
Specimen size: 2 × 1.7 × 1 cm = 0.79” × 0.67” × 0.39”

Main crystal size: 1.1 × 1 cm = 0.43” × 0.39”
.
MC27T1: Fluorite with Euclase and Quartz
Group of octahedral crystals of Fluorite with echeloned growths on their faces. They are blue, are on a group of Quartz crystals and have a nucleus of Euclase crystals that are sharp, translucent and very bright. A very unusual association.
Piaotang Mine, Dayu, Ganzhou Prefecture, Jiangxi Province  China (±2009)
Specimen size: 6.9 × 6.7 × 5.2 cm = 2.72” × 2.64” × 2.05”
