Group of prismatic and terminated Crocoite crystals, of extraordinary and vivid red color, so deep and uniform that it stands out on a whitish massive Quartz matrix, offering a spectacular color contrast. It comes from the Berezovske gold deposit, type locality, among other species, for Crocoite, discovered and described for the first time in the 18th century and which led to the discovery of the element chromium.
The specimen, which comes from the Ángel Roldán collection, stands out both for its beauty and for the history behind the finding of a mineral in its type locality.
