MT37AG4: Carletonite
Aggregate of tetragonal Carletonite crystals on a Calcite matrix, with very well defined faces and edges and with a deep, uniform and intense color. The sample was from the Carles Curto collection (duplicates) The Mont Saint-Hilaire is an alkaline intrusion belonging to the Monteregian Hills Igneous Belt, world-famous for its exceptional mineralogy with more than 430 recorded species, many of them type locality. The rocks consist of nepheline syenites and carbonatites with miarolitic cavities hosting rare minerals.
Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec  Canada (±2002)
Specimen size: 5.4 × 5 × 2.1 cm = 2.13” × 1.97” × 0.83”
.
MX90W9: Carletonite
The sample is from the type locality. Group of translucent equant crystals with a very deep and intense blue color and very individualized as usual with this kind of sample. A great classic.
Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec  Canada (2002)
Specimen size: 3.6 × 2.8 × 1.9 cm = 1.42” × 1.10” × 0.75”

Main crystal size: 1.5 × 1 cm = 0.59” × 0.39”
.
MC89AA9: Carletonite with Calcite and Feldspar
Aggregate of very sharp prismatic tetragonal Carletonite crystals, some of them more isolated than usual, whose color is unusually intense, deep and uniform. They are on a Calcite matrix and partially coated by small, white, Feldspar crystals. The three minerals have been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analyses to the buyer.
Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec  Canada (2003)
Specimen size: 3.9 × 3 × 2.4 cm = 1.54” × 1.18” × 0.94”
.
MD90AA9: Carletonite with Calcite and Feldspar
Aggregate of prismatic tetragonal Carletonite crystals with very well defined faces and edges, whose color is unusually intense, deep and uniform. They are partially coated by small yellowish Calcite crystals, with white Feldspar crystals. The three minerals have been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analyses to the buyer.
The specimen's photo has been reviewed and published in the magazine ‘Rocks & Minerals’ on page 51 in the volume 91, number 1, Jan/Feb 2016
Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec  Canada (2003)
Specimen size: 4.7 × 2.6 × 2.4 cm = 1.85” × 1.02” × 0.94”

Main crystal size: 2.1 × 2.1 cm = 0.83” × 0.83”
.
MD64AD3: Carletonite with Feldspar
Aggregate of equant tetragonal crystals that have very well defined faces and edges. They are translucent and bright and have an unusually intense, deep and uniform color and are with small white feldspar crystals. A great Canadian classic, from the type locality.
Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec  Canada (2002)
Specimen size: 3.8 × 2.8 × 3.6 cm = 1.50” × 1.10” × 1.42”
.
EJ26AG5: Carletonite with Feldspar, Calcite and Arfvedsonite
A group of very well defined crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with parallel growths on the faces, very bright and with a very vivid blue color. There are also small Feldspar and Calcite crystals and aggregates of small, black, acicular, Arfvedsonite crystals. The sample is with a label of a Canadian collection.
Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec  Canada (2013)
Specimen size: 4.6 × 3.3 × 4.3 cm = 1.81” × 1.30” × 1.69”

Main crystal size: 1.7 × 0.9 cm = 0.67” × 0.35”
.
EG70AH3: Carletonite with Feldspar, Pectolite, Calcite and Arfvedsonite
The most surprising of this group of equant Carletonite crystals is, for all that we know about the species, that they are so aerial and well defined, have a nice color and are so translucent and bright. But we also note the complexity of the paragenesis, with Feldspar, Calcite and Pectolite plus Arfvedsonite crystals.
The sample is from the type locality and it is with a label of a Canadian collection.
Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec  Canada (2013)
Specimen size: 5.8 × 5.7 × 3.7 cm = 2.28” × 2.24” × 1.46”
