Floater cubo-octahedral crystal with sharp faces and edges, with good luster and a very deep and uniform color. The back of the crystal has been cleaved but it is recrystallized and therefore the surface is natural. A Mexican classic.

Great crystal that is intensely blue and has very brilliant faces, so this Boleite is very representative of the species and locality.

Floater complete Boleite crystal with a very well balanced development of the octahedron and the cube faces that are very bright.
We’ll send the sample in its original Perkin’s box from the R.J. Noble collection, also containing the collection label in which it appears that it had previously been in the “Bunk” Melanson collection.

BMR70AQ0: Boleite
Very sharp Boleite crystal, with a little limonite matrix. Its very well defined faces have brilliant luster and a very deep color. The crystal is of high quality for the deposit, from which it is very rare to be able to obtain a specimen. The label, from an important European collection, has been applied to both of the pieces into which we split the original piece, as previously the two crystals seemed a bit lost.

This specimen stands out for the very unusual abundance of Boleite crystals on the limonite matrix. These very sharp crystals have retained their extraordinary color and brilliance despite their age. The specimen, from the type locality for the species, comes from a prestigious European collection.

TM10AD0: Boleite with Paratacamite and Gypsum
A novelty at Tucson 2016. Aggregates of small and very sharp cubic Boleite crystals that are translucent, very bright and on matrix, with Gypsum and Paratacamite. The sample is from recent preparation works at the mine.

TY88Q0: Boleite with Quartz, Gypsum and Brochantite
A novelty at Tucson 2010. This group of cubic crystals of Boleite was discovered in recent work in the classic Santa Amelia mine. The crystals are sharp, with very well defined faces and edges, bright and with a deep color on a Quartz matrix rich with Gypsum, with minor Brochantite.
