MTJ16CD3: Aurichalcite
In thin, crisscrossed “stockwork”-like plates formed of a ferruginous matrix completely covered by botryoidal masses of Goethite, groups of very bright Aurichalcite crystals have been deposited, predominantly grass-green, giving a beautiful chromatic contrast with the matrix. Without claiming to be among the best from this famous locality, this piece is very fine and elegant. A little beauty.

TC2580MAR: Aurichalcite (variety zeiringite) with Calcite and Co-bearing Calcite
One of the best Aurichalcite (variety zeiringite) specimens from Peramea that we know of. It comes from the collection of Adolf Bull, a chaplain from the Black Forest area in Germany, which he assembled between 1950-1965. The 'zeiringite' is on Calcite that grows on an earlier generation of cobalt-bearing Calcite that can be seen especially on the back of the piece. From a small mine in the Catalan Pyrenees, the Solita mine, located in the town of Peramea, which exploited minerals rich in cobalt and nickel.
Solita Mine, Peramea, Baix Pallars, Comarca Pallars Sobirà, Lérida / Lleida, Catalonia / Catalunya  Spain
Specimen size: 14.4 × 8.3 × 5.3 cm = 5.67” × 3.27” × 2.09”

RE26Y9: Aurichalcite on Calcite with Aurichalcite inclusions (variety zeiringite)
Green microcrystalline Aurichalcite films on banded Calcite with a very slightly green color due to the presence of inclusions of the same Aurichalcite. A very uncommon sample, because well differentiated exposed Aurichalcite is very scarce for the locality.
Solita Mine, Peramea, Baix Pallars, Comarca Pallars Sobirà, Lérida / Lleida, Catalonia / Catalunya  Spain
Specimen size: 12 × 9.4 × 3.3 cm = 4.72” × 3.70” × 1.30”
.
EX58AM3: Aurichalcite with Calcite and Murdochite
Aggregates of acicular Aurichalcite crystals, with good luster and a very vivid color. On a limonite matrix, with small Calcite crystals and black Murdochite crystals, identifiable by the isometric crystal habit typical of the species although to be sure we have had it analyzed and we will send to the buyer copy of the analysis. Altogether a great piece of high quality and very aesthetic, among the best Aurichalcites from Ojuela.
