Druse of Fluorite crystals with a cubic habit with slight curvatures on the edges. They are transparent, lustrous, with a color between lilac and blue, and sit on a matrix with small white Quartz crystals.

NNM37AP2: Fluorite with Quartz
From a May 2022 find in a new area, which has been called coquera del agua, in the well-known Llamas Quarry. The crystals of Fluorite on this specimen have a cubic shape beveled by the rhombododecahedron, are very transparent and lustrous, with a light and uniform lilac color, on matrix, with Quartz.

EA96AM2: Fluorite with Quartz
Group of transparent Fluorite crystals, with very bright luster, and an intense and vivid blue color typical of the best specimens from this mine, on a matrix of white Quartz crystals. A French classic.
The specimen is from the prestigious Pierre-Marie Guy fluorite collection.

Floater Fluorite crystal, with cubic crystal forms and a polycrystalline rhombododecahedral bevel and recrystallizations on the back, between transparent and translucent, with fine Quartz coatings. The Fluorite exhibits geometric color zoning between lilac and blue, much more intense in the core of the crystal.

Polycrystalline growth of Fluorite crystal cubes beveled by the dodecahedron. They are transparent, bright and have a very intense sky-blue color. On a Quartz matrix with small Muscovite platelets.
The sample is from the mineral collection of Pedro Alves, the author of the article “Vale das Gatas Mining District” in Mineral Up magazine (2017/1). We’ll send the collection label to the buyer.

Group of octahedral Fluorite crystals with curious dome-shaped tetrahexahedral terminations at the vertices. Translucent, with a uniform pale green color and on a Quartz matrix with small Pyrite crystals. Fluorite specimens from this little known mine are scarce and even more so those of a certain quality.
The specimen comes from the Jan Buma collection (#010649) whose catalogue entry we will send to the buyer.

SV250TLR: Fluorite with Quartz
Druse of cubic Fluorite crystals, between transparent and translucent, with marked polycrystalline growths on the faces of the crystals, with violet-blue tones, more intense in the center of the specimen. From a prolific Asturian mine, the Viesca mine, already closed, so quality specimens from here are becoming scarce on the mineralogical circuit.

A curiosity. Two generations of Fluorite crystals interrupted by a growth of Quartz crystals. The first, crystalline with bluish green color, supports a group of very sharp cubic crystals with an unusual slightly pinkish color.

Before the two great Reguerín pockets (Reguerín and Reguerín II) were discovered, there had already been finds of very transparent light blue Fluorite in the area of the La Viesca Mine, just like this specimen, which has a good crystal size too. It brings back many memories of that glorious time when hundreds or even thousands of Fluorite specimens appeared continuously. Nothing like the current situation.
