Group of cubic Fluorite crystals, very well defined, lustrous and translucent, showing a deep and uniform yellow color. The crystals are set on a matrix composed of fine lamellar aggregates of Manganoeudialyite, arranged in rosettes and displaying delicate pinkish tones. The presence of Manganoeudialyite — a rare cyclosilicate known from only a few localities worldwide — adds special interest and rarity to the specimen.
The piece comes from the Tanghekou Mine, located in the village of Tanghekou, in the northern part of the mountainous Huairou District, within the municipality of Beijing. This area belongs to the Yanshan Fold Belt, on the margin of the North China Craton, a geological province of predominantly Mesozoic age characterized by strong tectonic activity, granitic intrusions, and extensive fracture systems that favored the circulation of hydrothermal fluids and the formation of exceptional mineral assemblages.
