CT52D6: Rhodochrosite stalactite
As you can see in the photo this stalactite of Rhodochrosite has been polished at the bottom. In this case we feel that this helps one appreciate the beauty of its interior. Apart from the length, the fact that there are two stalactites, their great color and form means that we have decided to publish this specimen, even though it does not match our normal criteria for collectible specimens. It has a special quality that we think would make it of interest to anyone who collects minerals.
