TR96AL3: Cassiterite with Quartz, Fluorapatite and Arsenopyrite
Groups of twinned Cassiterite crystals, very sharp, shiny and translucent on the edges. On matrix, with short elongated Fluorapatite crystals of almost white color, aggregates of elongated crystals of Arsenopyrite and Quartz crystals.
Minas da Panasqueira, level 1, Aldeia de São Francisco de Assis, Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Cova da Beira, Centro Region  Portugal (2018)
Specimen size: 10.4 × 6.8 × 3.9 cm = 4.09” × 2.68” × 1.54”
.
RZ6G2: Cassiterite with Scheelite
The locality is very poorly-known and well crystallized samples are very scarce. In this specimen, Cassiterite forms a perfectly defined elbow twin, in a matrix very rich with Scheelite.
Cerro del Vidrio, Montoro, Comarca Alto Guadalquivir, Córdoba, Andalusia  Spain
Specimen size: 4 × 2.8 × 2.3 cm = 1.57” × 1.10” × 0.91”

Main crystal size: 0.8 × 0.6 cm = 0.31” × 0.24”
.
JFD142AO6: Cassiterite with Sphalerite, Quartz and Siderite
One hell of a Cassiterite! Very large for Panasqueira, very lustrous, and sitting well on Sphalerite crystals that are associated with Quartz crystals, one of them broken, but the others recrystallized, and with small Siderite crystals. Who said that Panasqueira cassiterites did not reach world class status?
Minas da Panasqueira, Aldeia de São Francisco de Assis, Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Cova da Beira, Centro Region  Portugal (±1970)
Specimen size: 10.8 × 9.7 × 4.1 cm = 4.25” × 3.82” × 1.61”
.
RJ47F8: Cassiterite with Zinkenite
A group of Cassiterite twins, very typical of Cornwall and on matrix. Needle crystals of Zinkenite accompany the Cassiterite. Although the mine that it is from is not given, it is the type of specimen that is hard to find.
Cornwall  England / United Kingdom (±1926)
Specimen size: 6 × 4.8 × 2.7 cm = 2.36” × 1.89” × 1.06”

Main crystal size: 1.2 × 1.2 cm = 0.47” × 0.47”
.
AE47Z1: Doubly terminated Cassiterite
Complete, untwinned, floater crystals showing the very well defined faces of two prisms and a dipyramid. The sample is from a known but very little disclosed Portuguese locality from which there have been scarce pieces of this quality.
Boticas, Vila Real District, Alto Trás-os-Montes, Norte Region  Portugal (1987-2013)
Specimen size: 2.8 × 2.6 × 2.7 cm = 1.10” × 1.02” × 1.06”
.
RC59I8: Twinned Cassiterite
Crystal forms a cyclic, dipyramidal twin, very well defined. It has brown color and it is translucent and very bright.
Minas da Panasqueira, level 2, Aldeia de São Francisco de Assis, Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Cova da Beira, Centro Region  Portugal
Specimen size: 2 × 1.8 × 1.3 cm = 0.79” × 0.71” × 0.51”
.
TC26J3: Twinned Cassiterite
A very interesting miniature both for the size of the crystal, considerable for Panasqueira, and because it is nearly transparent and has a very evident twin.
Minas da Panasqueira, level 2, Aldeia de São Francisco de Assis, Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Cova da Beira, Centro Region  Portugal (±1978)
Specimen size: 2.6 × 2.6 × 2.8 cm = 1.02” × 1.02” × 1.10”
