Group on matrix of water-clear and very sharp Quartz crystals, some of them, including the main one, doubly terminated, lustrous, and with phantom growths perfectly outlined by small spherulitic inclusions of Muscovite.
The specimen comes from a locality not widely disclosed in European collecting.
Alpine-type cavities in metamorphic rocks, with very sharp Quartz crystals. A classic locality for its very clear, highly lustrous Quartz specimens, with crystals sometimes doubly terminated, 'Japan-law' twins, and frequent inclusions (for example Muscovite) that can outline phantom growths. The mine’s name 'PC' comes from 'Perfect Crystal'
