ERB36AP0: Quartz (variety smoky) with Albite
Group of Quartz crystals (smoky variety) with very sharp crystal forms, with right-handed growth, very transparent and lustrous, and with deep and uniform smoky tones. On matrix, with Albite crystals. A French and European classic that comes from the Gérard Bertrand collection.

Group of smoky Quartz crystals with parallel growths, translucent, bright with red Hematite impregnations in some areas and with polycrystalline Albite growths. The sample is very unusual for both the locality and his shape. It is from the Daunis collection whose label we will send to the buyer.

Two isolated Quartz crystals (smoky variety) with very well defined faces and edges, transparent and bright, with a deep and uniform smoky color. They have grown on a matrix of Albite crystals.
The Daunis collection was, in the 70’s and the 80’s, a reference for the local prospectors of the Barcelona area.

Quartz crystal (smoky variety), very aerial, transparent, with good luster and a very deep color, on a matrix of small, sharp white crystals of Albite.
The specimen comes from the Daunis collection, which in the 70-80s was a reference for field collectors, especially for Catalan localities.

Very sharp smoky Quartz crystal, between transparent and translucent, with bright luster and very intense and uniform smoky tones, on a matrix of Albite and Microcline. From a little-known locality from which very few specimens were preserved, this being one of the best.

The Quartz from this Quarry which is already defunct (currently is completely flooded) is a world's reference due its quality and brightness. From the glorious past comes this beautiful group of Quartz crystals, several of them doubly terminated and partially coated with small scalenohedral crystals of Calcite.

TH59AD3: Quartz (variety smoky) with Calcite
Aggregate of crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with window (“fenster”) growths in some of their faces and a particularly intense “glassy” luster. The better samples from the Grant Quarry, aside from their scarcity, are especially appreciated by advanced collectors due to their quality, and the neat inner growth forms.

LK91AK2: Quartz (variety smoky) with Epidote
A good example of what is expected of an Alpine fissure Smoky Quartz, for its transparency, intense luster and depth of color. Associated with some small Epidote crystals. The sample is from the Philippe Morelon collection (No. 766), whose catalogue entry we will send to the buyer.

Floater complete Quartz crystal, extraordinarily flat, with a very uncommon shape and bordered and partially coated by small crystals of an indeterminate Feldspar. The locality is very unusual.

DC89AJ0: Quartz (variety smoky) with Ferberite
Parallel growth of very sharp Quartz (smoky variety) crystals. They are partially doubly terminated, transparent, very bright, with inclusions, and are on a matrix of crystallized Ferberite with small Pyrite crystals.
The sample was in the Desmond Sacco collection whose label we will send to the buyer.

Group of mostly doubly terminated crystals of Quartz. They are completely clear, very bright and are on matrix with small platy crystals of Hematite. An excellent Alpine classic.

An interesting novelty of Tucson 2008 due to the quality and locality. Group of deep smoky Quartz crystals, one of them clearly dominant and partially doubly terminated, with well defined faces and edges. Crystals are transparent with several inclusions. We particularly like one of the inclusions, located at the top of the main Quartz crystal, of snowy well defined white globular crystals, whose identity we can’t say.

Group of Quartz crystals (smoky variety), one of them clearly dominant and partially doubly terminated, with a normal termination at the lower end and a parallel polycrystalline growth in the upper part. The group, very rich in inclusions, conserves remains of an Orthoclase matrix. The specimen comes from the Lluís Daunis collection.
