TM16N6: Calcite with Pyrite, Goethite and Fluorite
Group of white crystals of Calcite with very well defined forms. The crystals consist of two prisms of three alternating faces and the three terminal faces of a flat rhombohedron but their surfaces are very rich in polycrystalline growths. They are on a matrix of botryoidal Goethite partially coated by small iridescent crystals of Pyrite. A very esthetic. piece from a recent find in the El Hammam area.

White rhombohedral Calcite crystals with very sharp faces and edges and coated by a second generation of botryoidal, orange-brown Calcite with fine iridescence and also coating the Quartz crystals. An old sample from the findings in Trepča between the years 1994 and 2002.

Aggregate of white rhombohedral Calcite crystals with very well defined faces and edges and with echelon growths at the top in the front view. They are on matrix, with clear and colorless Quartz crystals. The sample is from relatively recent finds at Trepča that are producing material that is different from what has been previously known.

VG76G7: Calcite with Quartz
The growth is very curious. The Calcite forms very long scalenohedrons which are covered by multiple growths of little scalenohedral crystals of the same mineral. Calcite has a nice pale pink color and it’s on a matrix covered by little Quartz crystals.

Uniaxial growths of lenticular (flattened rhombohedron) Calcite crystals. They are translucent, have a light pinkish color and are on a matrix of Quartz crystals. A Calcite with a very uncommon shape for the locality.

Very esthetic specimen. This rhombohedron of Calcite, that seems cubic, shows a good honey yellow color, transparency and good brilliance. It has grown over curious snowy white Quartz hooked growths.

Scalenohedral crystal of Calcite completely recovered by a second generation of Quartz. The crystal is implanted in a geode of Quartz (amethyst) which crystals have zonation of color. Very esthetic.

TR90X8: Calcite with Quartz (variety amethyst) and Hematite
Partially doubly terminated scalenohedral Calcite crystal with parallel growths on the lower and micro-recrystallization on the surface of its faces. It is implanted on a geode of Quartz (amethyst) crystals that in the area near the Calcite have abundant black Hematite inclusions.

MF26M5: Calcite with Quartz (variety amethyst) and Hematite
Scalenohedral crystal of Calcite in a geode of Quartz (amethyst). The crystal has three channels that coincide with the acute edges and these contain thin growths of Hematite microcrystals. Within the crystal there is a very well defined inclusion of red Hematite. The sample is from a new quarry in the well known region of Artigas.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Rivista Mineralogica Italiana’ on page 138 in number 2009/2.

TR27AH2: Calcite with Quartz and Fluorite
A novelty at Tucson 2018. Strongly elongated scalenohedral crystals with pinacoidal terminations. They are bright, have fine oriented growth striations, are rich with inclusions at their base and are on a white Quartz matrix with clear green Fluorite. As is usual with most of the new Chinese mineral discoveries the name of the mine (Khen Zhi Kou) that our supplier give us has not yet been checked, so we prefer to only give the known data, that is: Longyan Prefecture, Fujian Province.
