Vesuvianite crystal with a tabular appearance, very sharp, translucent and lustrous, with a very vivid reddish brown color. On matrix, with small sharp Diopside crystals, green and lustrous.

MD3K0: Vesuvianite with Diopside
Group of crystals, a lot of them doubly terminated, with an excellent luster and color, moving from green to mauve but basically yellow. The tips of the pyramids are transparent. The specimen, with the presence of small tabular and transparent crystals of Diopside, is a floater.

MB26L5: Vesuvianite with Diopside
Group of Vesuvianite crystals, some of them doubly terminated, whose color varies between the yellowish green to mauve. Accompanied by flattened Diopside crystals with excellent creamy color, good transparency and brilliance.

TXF86AQ0: Vesuvianite with Diopside, Phlogopite and Muscovite
Druse of small translucent prismatic Vesuvianite crystals, with very good luster and brown color, associated with green Diopside crystals and aggregates of lamellar Phlogopite-Muscovite crystals. Although the original label with the specimen, signed by Pierre-Auguste Touchon, says that it is ‘Humite’, upon analysis it turned out to be Vesuvianite (type locality!) and also has associated Diopside, Phlogopite and Muscovite.

RN16K9: Vesuvianite with Grossular
A group of Vesuvianite crystals from a classic locality, with well defined faces and edges, most of them doubly terminated. They are formed by two prisms and a pyramid on the terminal faces.

TM27T2: Vesuvianite with Grossular (Hessonite)
An extraordinary sample for the locality, with aggregates of very elongated prismatic crystals of Vesuvianite in parallel growths and in square crystals with hollow terminations. The sample is completed by the presence of dodecahedral crystals of Grossular (variety Hessonite) and small rosettes of Chlorite.
