JFD225AP8: Fluorapatite with Calcite
Color, color, and color! The crystals are on an unusual Calcite matrix and one of them has a small chip that, fortunately, is on the back of the piece and so is inconspicuous. As said, the most remarkable thing about it is its color. I got it back for myself when I bought the Silvane collection, to whom I had sold it before.

EXX74CD2: Fluorapatite with Calcite
Very aerial parallel growth of tabular Fluorapatite crystals, transparent, very shiny, and intensely pink. On matrix, with white lenticular Calcite crystals. DA76E6: Fluorapatite with Cassiterite and Mica
A novelty from China: in the Pingwu area, famous for Scheelite and Cassiterite, they have found some extraordinary Fluorapatite, which have very good color and, above all, very good crystal definition. In fact they look very similar to the famous Swiss ones, with the difference being that the Chinese ones are a deeper color. The paragenesis is also quite incredible: a matrix of delicate crystals of Mica with very brilliant Cassiterite. This specimen was photographed for the ‘what’s new at St Marie 2004’ section of the magazine ‘Le Règne Minéral’ and appears on page 50 of number 58. We will send the purchaser a copy of the magazine.
Also, it has been published in the book 'China', by Berthold Ottens, on page 420

JFD62AN9: Fluorapatite with Cassiterite, Ferberite and Siderite
Purple fluorapatites ('os lilas' in local slang) are a rarity in Panasqueira and when they appear they are highly valued. This piece is not large, but has no damage, it has Siderite, Cassiterite and Ferberite crystals, and color zoning, with a purple band between two green bands, which makes it an original and very elegant specimen.

NP14AL5: Fluorapatite with Chlorite
A novelty at the Sainte Marie 2020 Virtual show: Group of elongated Fluorapatite crystals with a pale yellow to violet color, with zoning that forms white geometric bands in the terminal areas and small Chlorite coatings. The specimen, completely different from those known so far from Panasqueira, comes from a small vug that produced few pieces.

JFD190AP3: Fluorapatite with Chlorite
Rare, rare, both for its color and for the presentation of the crystals. Despite having seen so many fluorapatites, the truth is that I don't remember seeing another one like this one. Besides, the little 'ball' of Chlorite is intriguing, because I honestly don't know if it is an aggregate of Chlorite crystals or if it is covering some other species.

WRM47CD2: Fluorapatite with Ferberite, Quartz and Muscovite
Crystals of Fluorapatite with a short prismatic habit, partially biterminated, shiny, and of a beautiful violet color, the most desired color for fluorapatites from Panasqueira. They are on matrix, with flattened crystals of Ferberite, Quartz crystals, and coatings of Muscovite. Like all specimens in Raúl Sanabria's collection, it was chosen with great care, always aiming to have something special that sets it apart.

JFD76AO0: Fluorapatite with Ferberite, Siderite and Calcite-Dolomite
This is a serious piece, the bluish Fluorapatite has a fascinating crystallography, the crystals are very aerial and are associated with a combo of Ferberite, Siderite and Calcite-Dolomite. I don't recall seeing many more Panasqueira fluorapatites with this crystal habit (if any at all)
Minas da Panasqueira, Aldeia de São Francisco de Assis, Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Cova da Beira, Centro Region  Portugal (±1994)
Specimen size: 6.4 × 5.4 × 4.8 cm = 2.52” × 2.13” × 1.89”
