Dioptase crystals more isolated than usual for the deposit. Very profiled, with elongated prisms and very sharp rhombohedral terminations. Translucent, shiny, with an intense color, and on matrix with white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. The specimen comes from the duplicates of the Carles Curto collection (number 1981.15), whose label and computer entry we will send to the buyer.

RB27F8: Dioptase with Wulfenite
From the Mammoth-St. Anthony Mine, no less! A group of Dioptase crystals with great color, on matrix, and with the rare feature of some associated Wulfenite crystals. The St. Anthony deposit is a classic polymetallic carbonate-replacement deposit closely associated with Mesozoic granitic intrusions and low- to medium-temperature hydrothermal systems. The oxidation zone is exceptionally rich and complex, renowned for its remarkable mineralogical diversity and superb secondary species such as Wulfenite, Cerussite, Mimetite, Caledonite, Anglesite, and Linarite. Intense fracturing and deep weathering promoted supergene enrichment, producing colorful assemblages of major historical and mineralogical significance.

TPA99AP2: Dioptase with Wulfenite coated by Pyromorphite
Druse of very lustrous equant crystals of Dioptase, with a very vivid color and with lamellar crystals of Wulfenite with coatings of Pyromorphite microcrystals. The Pyromorphite has been analyzed and the results were a surprise because until now these coatings had been called Cerussite! We will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
