ME74V2: Adamite (variety cuprian) with Olivenite
Crystals of Adamite, in groups and isolated crystals, with very well defined faces and edges, a considerable size for a most usual kind of sample from Tsumeb, with good clear green color typical of the cuprian variety. They are on microcrystalline Olivenite and on matrix. These cuprian Adamites are specially appreciated due their rarity at this locality. A really good “oldie”.

MC11X8: Adamite (variety cuprian) with Smithsonite
Spheroidal growths of Adamite (variety cuprian) in micro-crystals whose color is between green and bluish green. They are on limonite matrix, with white botryoidal Smithsonite. It is a rarity at the small Serpieri mine at Lavrion, not well known for collectible samples.

TJ48Q3: Adamite (variety cuprian) with Wulfenite
Radial group of crystals of exceptional size for Tsumeb. They are very well defined, with excellent terminations and a tabular crystal of Wulfenite on the back. This crystal of Wulfenite has a little damage on an edge but the Adamite is perfect. An excellent miniature.

TR27AJ8: Adamite (variety manganoan)
Group of very sharp Adamite (manganoan variety) crystals on matrix. The crystals, translucent and very bright, have a zoned pale lilac color that had been famous with this variety at Mapimí and is currently considered a Mexican classic.
The sample is from the Thomas P. Moore collection whose label we will send to the buyer.

Between orange and reddish this manganoan Adamite shows an unusual agreeably color. Great luster as well.

RA14V1: Adamite (variety manganoan)
The crystals are more isolated than usual for samples from Mapimí. They are on limonite matrix and have a very intense color and luster (but with a little bit less contrast than in the photo).
The sample is with a card from the Folch collection (number 13015) that we'll send to the buyer.

EA91AM4: Adamite (variety manganoan) on Goethite
Groups of very sharp manganese-bearing Adamite crystals on a Goethite matrix. The crystals, translucent, lustrous, and larger than usual, have a pale lilac color in the prism and much more intense on the terminations, a color that has made this variety famous in Mapimí.
Currently considered a Mexican classic, it comes from the Peter Rosewarne collection (number Rc927), whose label we will send to the buyer.

TR96Z5: Adamite (variety manganoan) on Goethite
A mushroom-like growth on a botryoidal Goethite matrix of Adamite crystals with very well defined faces and edges, a deep yellow color and violet shades on terminal faces. An excellent “oldie” from Mapimí.

TF4B6: Adamite doubly terminated
Like a seed head, the form of this Adamite makes it different from other ones. The good color and luster make for a final perfect result.

Group of well defined and very bright Adamite crystals. A gentle yellow to greenish color, on a Limonite matrix.

TP27K4: Adamite on Limonite
On the sample coexist spherical growths, almost globular, and individual crystals of perfectly defined faces and edges. The Adamite esthetically contrasts with the Limonite matrix.

EE99F2: Adamite with Limonite
The Adamites from Mapimí never seem to run out, but one cannot get bored with them. This one shows why with its sprays, so typical of the locality, which are a perfect color, very brilliant and contrast strongly with the red Limonite matrix.

TN46L7: Cuprian Adamite
Groups of divergent and very delicate cuprian Adamite crystals on a Limonite matrix. Color varies between greenish yellow to light green. One of the groups, adjacent to a small fissure, has been reinforced with glue. A classic locality from which it is not easy to see samples in the market.
