EL96X0: Quartz (variety faden) doubly terminated and with Chlorite inclusions
Very sharp flattened parallel growth of quartz crystals that are transparent, very bright and with a neatly visible "faden" growth that crosses it tip to tip. With minor green inclusions, probably of Chlorite.

Group of extraordinarily elongated, clear and shiny crystals, with "faden" growths in them. On the matrix, a big rough crystal of Calcite stands out.

EC27AG7: Quartz (variety faden) with Chlorite
Doubly terminated floater crystal with a closed “faden” and very well defined parallel growths. The sample, very transparent, has a deep and uniform smoky color.
A French classic from the Christophe Marot collection (cat. nr. C8-6), on whose label, that we’ll send with the sample, it is noted that it was acquired in 2008 from Denis Boël.

Novelty, from a so far unpublished Moroccan locality: Floater growth of large flattened Quartz crystals, doubly terminated, with very marked parallel aggregates with a comb-like morphology, transparent, very lustrous and with abundant oriented Chlorite inclusions.

TQ68T1: Quartz (variety faden) with Chlorite inclusions
Multiple parallel growth of very flattened crystals progressively turning to the right and crossed by a sharp chloritized ”faden” and contrasting with another group of different shape, very elongated. Very original.
The specimen is from the Denis Boël collection. We will send to the customer the collector’s label.

Echeloned uniaxial growth of Quartz crystals, perfectly clear and bright and with a very notable "faden". The base is rich with fine green acicular inclusions, probably Ferroactinolite.

Doubly terminated, partially chloritized, crystal with parallel polycrystalline terminations. The twisting (gwindel) of the crystal is especially evident on one of the main edges.

A novelty at Ste. Marie 2016. Drusy growth, on matrix, of crystals with a very short, almost non-existent prism. They are extraordinarily bright and have an unusually intense and deep red color due to very fine Hematite inclusions. Among the best known, for the color, of this Quartz variety.

XM280TLR: Quartz (variety jacinto de compostela)
Floater 'Pineapple' formed of Quartz crystals (jacinto de compostela variety) showing rhombohedral terminations without any prism development, and with a very uniform and deep color. It comes from Chella, in Valencia, where Triassic sediments emerge, specifically the Keuper Formation, in which these specimens are found together with the well-known aragonites. This specimen belonged to Santiago Jiménez who, especially in the eighties and nineties of the last century, assembled an excellent collection.
