TPA90XXX: Baryte with Marcasite inclusions

Group of parallel tabular Baryte crystals, perfectly defined, with elongated terminations, very lustrous, and with numerous inclusions formed by small Marcasite crystals. The Belorechenskoe Deposit is located in Maykopsky District, Republic of Adygea, on the northwestern flank of the Western Caucasus. It is a hydrothermal antimony–mercury deposit characterized by Stibnite, Cinnabar, and their oxidative alteration products such as Valentinite and Kermesite. The mineralization formed through low-temperature hydrothermal systems related to tectonic and magmatic activity within the Caucasian arc.
